It’s not route 1 I’m advocating. Literally a centreback launching a long ball for a striker to flick on has barely worked against anyone ever

There’s no reason though we can’t get the ball out wide, get crosses in, play the balls into channels quicker, turn the opposition defence more often, get more attackers into the box.

How many times have teams beaten us doing these exact things against us. We’ve been trying to play too perfectly under Lampard and quite frankly unless you’re City or Arsenal this season it just ain’t working.

I understand what you’re saying but I don’t that ‘simple’ style will yield many results against the majority of PL sides.
I suspect that’s the way we will go but we have seen how much Burnley struggled last season.
To be honest we have to start winning games and I am far from convinced this manager has the skill set to get us scoring enough to survive.

He has been Chairman whilst the finances have been mismanaged. He is very much to blame for his part.

You keep repeating yourself. Ok, he's not the owner now, but he's still the chairman now. He's still partly responsible for the mess we're in.

If he'd walked away after selling to Moshiri you'd maybe have a point, but he don't since he's our chairman and negotiating deals and appointing staff.
