Nah, not having that.

If he agreed to the manager's job and had no assuranc es of players conming in then he's here for the cash.

I have zero trust in this manager.

Come 11pm and that window shutting with no incoming players we'll have no board and no manager as far as I'm concerned.

He's hand in glove with this. His comment yesaterday in his interview that he ahs to see what he has yet said it all. He was never expecting players in. And that relegates us.
I suspect he's had assurances he can stay on once relegated. Not sure if we get parachute payments but if so it's a great chance for the great reset! He knows how to get a team promoted. There's a hidden narrative we don't know about at work here, unless the board get off on acts of self sabotage.

After 1day he has now seen how this club is run, wander if he has a cooling period in his contract, if so he could walk out next week. He has now seen why we go through so many managers and why even players scraping the bottom of the barrel don't want to join us. What will he think when we make a last minute signing later tonight that they haven't told him about, will they tell him it is to try and appease the fans .

If we get no signings this feller is part of the problem right away for me.

That would signify collusion with this board and owner.

There's no one who believes Everton can get clear of relegation without more players in here now, especially after another sale.
Absolutely, but he’s already started that because he knows no other PL club go near him: yesterday he said “we are looking but we already have quality”

First day he says “need everyone to come together.”

He is a front, a yes man

Not a even a full week in the job and the board have nicely deflected a lot of hassle into the manager.
Manager should be praised for willing to take this job on.
At least let him fail before we call him a failure.
Why would any manager come into the club and call the players average or poor, he’s trying to build them up to see if he can get more from them.
Newcastle were written off last Jan and their squad was supposedly full of Championship players.

But Newcastle spent about 100m in January, we can’t spend a 50p

If Dyche keeps us up, despite this shocking transfer window, I don’t think anyone could complain about him being given the job
Very much the same as Lampard last year. He should only be given the job if we're playing better and progressing as a side. Frank kept us up but we were awful and he should have been shown the door anyway. Same for Dyche.

And if we play better and go down (which to me is the least likely scenario) he shouldn't be sacked for it.
