Done a full 180 on Stone Cold Sean after today. Can't remember the last time I enjoyed a game like that.

We couldn't have had more than 30% possession in that game but created more than we have all season. Play to the players strengths! That should always be the first priority and I think he understands that.

If you aren`t going to score many from open play, maximise the threat of scoring from set pieces.

Massively improved in terms of organisation and tactics. Pressed as a unit really well. Nullified the threat of Saka and Martinelli by doubling up using Iwobi and McNeil to help the full backs.
We’ve looked so susceptible to quick breaks and counter attacks all season but that didn’t happen at all today- against one of the quickest sides in the league. Always a midfielder sitting in and shielding the back 4.
Very encouraging start. Although our better performances have come against top of the table sides this year there was enough there to give encouragement that Dyche has the nous to get the best out of these players.

We deserved to win today. If we play that well, we will defeat most teams in this league.

Don’t know what to say mate, I still can’t believe that performance Arsenal got of light and we controlled the game. They have players we can only dream of in terms of quality, but we deserved to win that game, it was by far not a fluke, we earned it.

Im astounded, still coming down,, we absolutely deserved it.

The biggest joy of today was hearing Goodison rock, I can’t tell you how good that was after all we’ve been through over the winter, that win will act as a salve to some of the hurt caused and create a bit of unity - we need it. Feel like we have a realistic chance now of fighting this out.
