2022/23 Sean Dyche

Just sticking with the facts, he was relegated once, not twice. Burnley sacked him, after just changing ownership before the season had finished. The previous owners always stuck with Dyche for the difficult run in and he tended to deliver. But, if you know anything about football, surely you can see keeping Burnley in the PL for so long was a huge achievement.
Did you want him at Villa after Slippy G was jibbed off? Course not. Go pat somebody else on the head.

Sean's views on feminism:

“I grew up in an era where Dad worked, Mum looked after the family, and if I think of the qualities she brought to that – nurture and support are so valuable. She didn’t have a powerful job, but she was very powerful in my house, as powerful as any position anyone can hold in a business. You cannot underestimate the importance of that role in a home.”
Hahahhaah

He'll come with a smaller staff because there is no analysis, modern thinking nor anything else. Just running and shape training. 4-4-2 bang it up to the big man.

And don't anyone tell me that's what we need. This is the most shameful day in our history if we appoint this idiot.
Allardyce and Benitez say hello

I know. But he kept a very unfashionable club in the PL before all that.

Needs must here. Purity takes a back seat.
My fear in the summer, which still is very much so now,, is that we don’t have any goalscoerers in the team. Not one

we may buy some, or he goes long to Dom and the instructions are pick up the second ball, maybe??

Who knows, the team is massively unbalanced and any manager without recruitment will fail IMO

Just because he managed a team in some made up town near greater Manchester doesn't make him Moyes c.2003

Even if he keeps us up, then what? His visionary football gets us 15th twice then we go down?
Exactly, this is just following the pattern of the past two years. We need to break this cycle at some point, ffs.

I cannot remember the last time I a sustained bit of goalmouth action, even if that be two crosses in succession

As I keep saying, I have a few friends who support Burnley and, from the outside, people might think that having them stable in the Prem for years would mean they liked him. They absolutely hated him. They said the football was beyond awful and kept saying that, even if the club still has no money, they need a new, fresh kind of manager to change things up or they would go down. Look what happened.

There were loads of rumours about how he was with the 'foreign lads' - which would be borne out by how few foreign players they signed under him. He also prioritised banter and the lads going for a drink together for bonding. It's not the sodding 1980s!!

It's all just so embarrassing.

Dyche laid the foundations for that club to become a modernised and adaptable football club.

Akin to Moyes with us, it went stale. It happens when someone is at a club for so long.

What we need is stability over the next two years and id back Dyche to bring that.
And the point about banter and the team going out on the lash..give me a bunch of guys willing to fight for each other as a team over our lot who seemingly can't stand one another and have absolutely zero team spirit.

Dyche would be the best bet to get us over the line. We dont have time for finesse. It's all about players sweating their bollocks off now.

I think Goodison will take to him. He'll hand the club a boost.

Yep, he’s a big Sam but without being a fat lump covered in gravy……

Alright mate. Enjoy the mediocrity of long ball football in the championship clinging to 1 nils and the likes of Keane and McNeil starting every week.

Good Times.
You would have said exactly the same if we were linked with Eddie Howe - when he was performing worse than Dyche ever did and conceding 80 goals a season for Bournemouth

Now he's the hipsters favourite
