No I didnt want him at Villa. I don't want Villa playing the style of football he plays. But the situation Villa were in is very different to that of Everton's. There were only 11 games played and we had the WC break to give the manager time to work with the team. We also had money available for a new manager to spend. It is now the end of Jan and Everton are in the bottom 3 and all the teams around you are improving their squads. Everton requires firefighting now and doesn't have the luxury of time.

I think many Everton fans are looking at Dyche from a football snobbery perspective and that Everton is too big a club to get a manager like Dyche in as it confirms the state the club is in and it highlights the fall from grace. But if the reality of the situation is not accepted then things will only get worse

No. My issue with Howe was that his teams didn't know how to defend and I feared another Martinez situation (he's sorted that now). There was always some degree of innovation and thought from Howe, as flawed as he was. Dyche is a truly awful man and manager.

Far to many of our fans worry about what others teams fans think of Everton if we get Dyce, I honestly do not care, beyond it right now.

Couldn't care less about what other fans think of us. Just think Dyche is a bad manager and that he's just the latest in a succession of poor appointments by an imbecilic board.

I said earlier that we need a big character who can get out there and take the challenge on. Dyche can do that.

In normal circumstances you'd run a mile from his style of play...but these are not normal times.

Couple of years, stabilise the club, work in a budget, BMD, when we aren’t a basket case wel have a look around.

Step 1: Absolutely grock the next two.

Thought this was an interesting watch, 20 minutes of Dyche explaining his system. Whether you like the system or not he clearly understands what he's doing and more importantly can explain it coherently and in detail. I think that's what our players need right now.
