2022/23 Sean Dyche

Dyche laid the foundations for that club to become a modernised and adaptable football club.

Akin to Moyes with us, it went stale. It happens when someone is at a club for so long.

What we need is stability over the next two years and id back Dyche to bring that.
And the point about banter and the team going out on the lash..give me a bunch of guys willing to fight for each other as a team over our lot who seemingly can't stand one another and have absolutely zero team spirit.
What foundations did he lay? Talking out of your backside there.

Kompany has started almost everything from scratch.

Like saying Roy Hodgson and Brendan Rogers laid the foundations for Klopp. Did they heck. It was all torn up and replaced with something much better.

I think you ate confusing someone preceeding a better appointment with laying the foundations.

Why didn't you guys accept you were a mid-table team and appoint Hasenhuttl or someone then instead of Emery? Because you had ambition so appointed a good manager.

You cannot appoint a manager who is no better than relegation fodder playing dinosaur football. If you appoint someone with potential, you may move in the right direction. We know what Dyche is and it is unbelievably poor. It should be against everything we stand for as a club. But know this is the MO of Kenwright and Moshiri and a huge section of our fan base will gladly lap this up, doing the board's job for them - the acceptance of failure and mediocrity. The normalising of a complete lack of vision and foresight. The inability to plan and innovate.

Dyche is the final nail in the coffin of this joke of a club.
Yes, I agree we had ambition and appointed a good manager but we had time on our side and money for transfers. Everton does not have time to bed in a new manager, u need someone in that can work with the current players and give u a chance of survival. If u sacked Frank before the WC then u would be in a position to get a good footballing manager in but with the transfer window about to shut, a lack of funds for transfers and 19th in the league I think Dyche is the right sort of manager to get in to get u out of the mess Moshir et al put u in

Couldn't care less about what other fans think of us. Just think Dyche is a bad manager and that he's just the latest in a succession of poor appointments by an imbecilic board.
I believe you are wrong, you are not basing it on coaching ability, are you not sick of these big name managers? we have not been right since Moyes left, and it feels like a lifetime ago.

Give me some grit, hardworking direct football back anyday. We are clearly a club that likes to get up the pitch fast as we are impatient.

Thought this was an interesting watch, 20 minutes of Dyche explaining his system. Whether you like the system or not he clearly understands what he's doing and more importantly can explain it coherently and in detail. I think that's what our players need right now.

He's an impressive individual at times and in my opinion misunderstood.

You would have said exactly the same if we were linked with Eddie Howe - when he was performing worse than Dyche ever did and conceding 80 goals a season for Bournemouth

Now he's the hipsters favourite
Quite right. Couldn’t keep clean sheets for toffee, Bournemouth’s defensive record was horrendous under him. Now has Newcastle with the best defensive record in the league. Give him/them the tools and they can adapt. Dyche has already explained why he played the way he did at Burnley. With a lack of financial backing he simply had to play a certain way to get points and keep the club in the league which he managed to do for many years against the odds. I genuinely don’t understand people who think he didn’t do a very good job there when he blatantly did.

This is me trying to throw a bit of positivity in just in case this does happen. It is possible that Dyche could do better than he has the last few seasons if he is properly supported by the club and supporters. Take Eddie Howe for instance. Not many of us ever wanted him near the club for very good reason but he has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that with the right club and backing he can do a lot better than he ever previously did which is clearly shown below.

Eddie Howe - Season 2019/20 (Poor)

Eddie Howe - Nov 21 - Now at Newcastle (Very Good)

Of course Newcastle are currently ran miles better than us so this scenario is probably more unlikely than likely but hey ho, i had to throw a positive thought in instead of being completely negative all the time. ;)

He could have at least used subbuteo

If I was a fan of another club I'd want us to appoint Dyche too. I'm now very keen on Villa appointing Neil Warnock as their next manager. He's be perfect.

Here we go. A video of a man explaining a basic system that could be utilised and done by any Sunday league coach but we will all convince ourselves he's Arrigo Sacchi.

He's a typical British football manager. Full of hot-air.

I think you see confusing someone preceeding a better appointment with laying the foundations.

Do some research man. You are coming across like a total plonker.

Coaching ability. He relegated Burnley less than 12 months ago!
