He didn't take them down,they sacked him beforehand , probably should have stuck with....everything is relative though, he did an unreal job keeping heat squad in the league year on year......sign him up so !!

I'm fine with it if we appoint him. Its not that exciting but sometimes the obvious choice works.

To be honest I'll support whoever it is because this is an almost impossible job

It’s not an indictment on any of you, it’s just sad that so many people have been beaten down that Dyche is now the option for us.

Seems like an exaggeration. He had a couple of good seasons and a lot of less impressive ones. I dont understand why anyone would think hes the answer to our current plight.

I wanted Dyche in since November, didn't see the point in letting Lampard loose more games before making the change to give ourselves a chance.

It's weird I can talk myself into Dyche making us hard to beat and being a fighter who can help drag us out of a hole but it also out of it thinking we have better footballers than he can deal with and the style football ....

Would definitely like someone far better but I could at least see dyche maybe keeping us up and ‘steadying the ship’ for a few years to get us back on the right path. I’m hoping more inspirational candidates are put forward but I’ll be honest I’d take dyche over bielsa at the moment.

The one thing I'd say in Dyches favour is you look at how quickly Allardyce turned around a probably equally woeful team by doing basics.

I mean we wont know just how bad we are, the extent this is the team or Lampard etc. But a Dyche is probably the lowest risk, lowest reward type manager.

Hes not my number 1 choice, but hes an upgrade on Lampard.

I think what people have to realise is that managing games is far better than being a great player. And knowing how to make awful players into average ones is also a specific skill.

To be honest if this bloke gets appointed it’ll be the final straw for me.
It would be a cowardly appointment lacking in vision and bereft of any hope for the future.
And I’m done supporting cowards.
Survival isn’t an achievement for Everton and to consider it so is a failure in itself.
Besides what exactly are we surviving for anymore?
