2022/23 Sean Dyche

I believe we have much better chance of survival under Dyche than if the super Frankies were still in charge. We were going down with a whimper under Lampard who was a truly terrible manager. The points percentage shows us we would have ended with approx 33 points under a season from him. That is relegation! If people are judging Dyche already ... his record is actually decent and long may it continue:

That record doesn't include the 4-0 thumping we just got

Not a month after hiring your last one you shouldn't.
Actually you should.
The top level DoFs apparently always make themselves aware of the most suitable managers who can replace their current occupant.
It’s a fairly obvious way to ensure any future managerial change , either by choice or enforced, is as smooth as possible.
It’s the professional way to run a competitive football club , and so it has no bearing on Everton of course.
Perfect example is Brighton this season, they clearly knew who they wanted to bring in and may even have been in unofficial contact before the loss of Potter.
Then consider the the risible chaos of our last two appointments and decide which method you would prefer.

We have definitely improved under Dyche but still nowhere near good enough although tbf it is still early days for him. One positive is if we have had a couple of tough games and if we continued with our current form of winning 2 out of 5, then it might be enough to stay up.

He really needs to address this goal scoring problem quickly though. I know it's not his fault but maybe it is time to think out of the box. If someone isn't good enough such as Maupay *cough* then just bin him otherwise it is just rinse and repeat and hoping something changes when it obviously isn't going to. Maybe bring some of the younger players in to replace under performers. Might at least create a bit of fight or competition.

Need a win on Sunday please.

Maybe no striker as such. That would have to bring gray in for a bit of pace on the counter attack. Something he isnt to bad at. The problem is nobody else does it.
Pretty desperate even trying to think outside the box. The squad is so low on talent and even pace.

Not sure about his comments regards Maupay and scoring by saying it will come eventually, of course it will, but it could take years to get his next goal

Agree i would have liked to see him try more attacking subs maybe gray and simms both uptop. Is hard to really say much when the swuad is this bad. Have had alot of managers talk rubbish but atleast he seems to have the right attitude just hope he can get a run with dcl in the team

Has to say it to try and give him some confidence, been rubbish maupay for me, he does not fit the style of the team at all, no pace and cant finish. Still dont kno who is to blame kt lampard ect. Just the wrong fit for us

Can’t come to terms with the fact that we’re just normal Everton fans and not arsed about Lampard one bit now that he isn’t our manager, unlike their weird demented cult that have been mourning the sacking of the fat kopite legend for the last 12 months. If they actually are Evertonians they are a complete stain on the fanbase, dreadful dreadful people.

There are 2 groups who are attacking Dyche already:

1. Lampards worshippers (we all know which posters these are).

2. The usual suspects who dislike every manager like Kev the rat and Iguana.

If he gets a draw or better at Notts Dyche has done a decent job so far.
I welcomed Lampard with open arms when he was appointed. But every single manager we’ve had post Moyes was kept in post far too long, and I believe Dyche will prove to be no different.

The happy clappers will find every excuse under the sun for him
