Then he played Maupay up front against Fulham at home in a must win game.

Clearly he either doesn't have a clue, or he doesn't care.

All in games in which we are the underdog. We need some proper backs to the wall performances away from home to fight for 3 points. Dyche can pull those types of games off but it's still a huge ask given how poor we looked the last two games.

If we go down this season (which I dont think we will) then a portion of the blame rests on the Lampard Loyalists who stuck by the fella despite 3 wins in 20 games and losing valuable points to nearly all our relegation rivals.

Think he's generally done well but his over use of favourites is worrying....Keane is not the answer (wonder goal aside)....Godfrey at fullback is not the answer....maupay upfront, how many chances is he going to get!
I know the squad is limited...but he's also got several players he's never used or used poorly (like simms)

We've been abysmal defensively the last 2 games, which is criminal considering how poor we already know we are at the other end. I think he needs to rethink the centre half pairing, but I don't think he's prepared to drop either Tarkowski or Keane due to loyalty.

He has to change his back-line. Keep conceding goals lately.

City's formation is 3-6-1 or something crazy like that.

Formation usually describes how the team is positioned in defence. Nobody plays 4-4-2/4-5-1, etc. in attack. Generally, you are positioned in a 3-2-5 or 2-3-5. When Manchester City defends they are usually in a 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 formation. The same can be said about Arsenal, who also sometimes defend in 5-3-2. Playing style and which space you threaten are more relevant to talk about, and there aren't many similarities to talk about.
