2022/23 Sean Dyche

The problem since Dyche has arrived is that when we lose the ball we are static, if I wanted to see statues I would go to Crosby.

we always stop when we think we are due a decision and never play to the whistle.

other teams make claims for decisions and get them (yesterday on two occasions for corners), when the officials didn’t have a clue.

other teams have a captain that is in the officials face.

What is the use of a right back or goalkeeping captain who cannot protest decisions to the ref?

we are a dysfunctional team who will not be able to cope in the championship. Burnley did so well because they were playing championship level football when they went down, they have played premiership clubs in cups and got their arses spanked and will struggle on return. Everton are playing league one football and will struggle massively in the championship.

Bottom line is i dont think graft is going to be enough. Every club around us seem to have a little something to pull off wins. We've got more or less nothing other than the sean dyche graft. But as someone said above, its not really on him. Look at that team yest. Kin hell. Tom davies is your most creative player off the bench. 5 defenders filling out the bench ffs.
The board and kevin killed the club finally in january. They gave us no chance.

Only he will know what he was thinking not only starting with Maupay, but persisting with him for 70 minutes after a truly diabolical performance yesterday. If that showing by Maupay is rewarded with another start for Everton under Dyche, the manager has already lost all of my respect and support.

He will not break up the Keane Tarkowski partner ship as they served him well in Burnley, the stupid ginger [Poor language removed] needs to realise he has moved on and they don’t work anymore.
Tarkowski replaced Keane at Burnley, Keane kept him out the side for the 12 month they were in the same squad. Keane and Ben Mee were the starting C/B in Keane's last season.
Personally not so convinced he wouldn't bring Red Con or even Mina back in if he felt it was going to make a significant difference. Think the defence would be acceptable if there was any sort of threat going forwards as teams would approach the games differently, as it stands its like every team we play already has the crucial 'first goal' advantage.

Started well before Jan unfortunately, imagine the sort of loan(s) we might have been able to get if we weren't weighing out £100-£120k per week to several players who don't even get close to the 1st team.
Jan was prob a busted flush already despite the noise around the Snake who went to Spurs, wouldn't be at all surprised if that was purely a financial desicion on his part..

Coady is a better defender than Keane. Keane just plays cos he's better in the air.

But on the ball and reading of the game, Coady is the better player.

Only thing half decent this season was Tarko and Coady in defence.

Keane is also a mouse while Coady is constantly barking at the team.

Prior to the Man U game it appeared that Dyche had steadied the ship and at least given the players some shape and motivation.
The team selections and tactics for the last 2 games have been impossible to fathom or rationalize.
Selecting Simms for 2 of our toughest away games and then ignoring him
Playing 2 midgets up top and hoofing the ball forward.
We have all known that Dyche is a very limited manager but If you want to know how good/bad he is just look at the transformation of Burnley since he left.
