Hardest job of a new manager is when the habits of the previous boss start kicking in again. He's got to arrest this slide immediately or we're facing worst case scenario and he's out of the job.

If you'd have told everyone we'd be 17th at this stage I think we'd have all taken it when he first took over so it's difficult to proportion blame to him. No matter what the outcome this season it's not his fault.

I don’t disagree but the fact he’s come out and said it suggests there could be a rift between him and the players

I’m sure he told them to their faces before he said it in his presser, so it won’t have come as a shock to them.

Plus, it was the truth.

What would you have him do, waffle nonsense about everything being “ phenomenal “ like Martinez used to ?

He will not break up the Keane Tarkowski partner ship as they served him well in Burnley, the stupid ginger [Poor language removed] needs to realise he has moved on and they don’t work anymore.
I certainly don't think he has learnt that much on how to evolve his Burnley experience during his time out of management which is a bit frustrating to say the least.

Big decisions this weekend - who to play at right back, whether to go back to a midfield three with one up top.

From his press conference, reckon he’ll go with Godfrey at right back. Can’t say I’m too happy about that when he’s so poor and we have a natural right back in Paterson back at full fitness.

Re midfield, less sure what he’ll do here but Simms and Gray in the middle were ineffective in the press so can’t see him going with that set up again. Think he will go back to a three in the middle but whether it’s Davies or Garner no clue.

Big calls, why he gets paid the big bucks.
Aged well :)

Got them all wrong.

Foōked it

Messing with the formation, a change in every part of the team, moving Iwobi central and Gray out wide THEN starting Maupay

Utterly ridiculous.

V Palace

Get Godfrey back at left back and Patterson in
McNeil and Iwobi out wide.
Pray Onana is back and
MAKE DCL play whether it's 60% fit or 78.9%, we need a striker a month ago.

I don't want to hear another word on his fitness just play the cart.
