He's ok, but like Lampard he talks far too good a game and to me it comes across like he absolutely loves the sound of his own voice.
So you watch somebody getting interviewed and then complain that he talks too much?

You are weird.

Personally, I stopped watching manager interviews a few years ago now, they are just paint by numbers media exercises.

Are people really still thinking that just a couple of changes to the starting line up would make us miles better? How long do we have to be rubbish for before we accept that we genuinely are rubbish, and it isn't just bad management/lack of effort/the fans not being nice enough/bad luck. Dyche isn't a great manager but he's doing about as well as can reasonably be expected here. We are very, very, bad. If he keeps us up he'll have done a brilliant job.

Yep. There's only so many ways to polish a turd.

In fairness to Dyche, he was getting better results from the awful squad he inherited. The loss of Doucouré, Coleman and Onana has just been a bridge too far. The head and tail of it is that our squad is very poor, we can't scored goals, we can't keep possession and we have a severe lack of pace in midfield and height up front.
Our squad is crap and has few leaders and not much height. Losing Coleman and Onana who are our captain and a talker and losing Doucoure and Onana as height up top as well as our squad not having a target man striker when Calvert-Lewin has been unavailable which is always was definitely too much all at once.

I just can’t get my head around why anyone would choose to watch a manager’s press conference. It’s just the most pointless waste of your time I could imagine.

Yep. He'd miraculously managed to find a set up that worked with the very meagre resources we have available, and then lost 3 of the key figures in that set up. It was difficult enough finding one way of getting results with this lot, kicking off because he hasn't immediately found a second way of doing it seems a bit mad to me.
