No mate, not at all. Not one bit, there’s not one bit of truth in that.

Make excuses for crap players and where do we end up?? The championship

It’s almost like this has never happened before
I agree with you - I just think that not signing strikers has put all of the attention on these two

If whichever fictional striker we may have signed would have scored 15 goals this season it wouldn't be so apparent just how average the rest of our attacking options are

Basically I'm just fuming with the decision makers more than anyone for leaving us in this mess

We could do. But does Dyche really deserve the sack? And who is available?

If we were getting hammered by the likes of Bournemouth every week like we were under Frank then I'd be advocating for that, absolutely.
We've been hammered at home by Fulham and Newcastle. Yes, they are better teams than Bournemouth but we've also won only one game in ten so we're only talking about marginal improvements if there are, in fact, any improvements. There's no point sacking Dyche now, but to suggest he's markedly better than Lampard is not really supported by compelling evidence.

Feeling numb after watching that.
Just got home and I can’t believe how
much we are going backwards. This is just as bad as Lampard .
All goals coming from the right.
Godfrey WTF is wrong with him?
Looked as slow as a slug.
We have a fullback on the bench who is accused by others on here as not being able to defend.
Well hello, what about the right back tonight? Same at Man U and Fulham. Poor player but the manager still picks him. Dyche has done us no favours the last few games
Let’s not go there on Holgate either.

What frustrates me the most is that above all else we needed to find a guy who could elevate the attack. We had to find a way to manufacture goals. And we hired the manager least equipped to do it. We're going to finish as lowest scorers more than likely and lowest scorer goes down a whole lot.

Also posted in Patterson thread...tells me alot about this clowns mentality.

Sack him....and sack him now.

Yet three of the visitors’ goals were engineered down Everton’s right flank. On his selection decision, Dyche said: “Just Ben’s experience, playing here and his experience in football in general. We know Patto is a very good player and is going to continue to learn. He’s been out a very long time as well earlier in the season.

“Seamus is making good progress. We think there’s a chance of his recovery before the weekend. It’s not just about one player but he was affected too easily for two goals.”

TLDR: Played Godfrey due to his "experience".

Cannot agree more.. also baffling that Mina is not getting a chance

I think he did some things well in his first couple of months but I simply can’t understand some of his decisions and actions in the last few weeks. Michael Keane playing every week despite making mistakes leading to goals every game, Godfrey being played at right back, and being on last night when he had one of the worst games I can remember an Everton player having.
He’s got experience of getting Burnley out of the championship, but I don’t know what I’d do at the moment. We probably can’t afford to sack him as no one at Everton will have considered some sort of break clause at the end of this season, depending on what league we’re in.
We need a manager who will build a team, like Burnley did in getting Kompany, Brentford when they got Franke in the championship. Someone who will give young and hungry players a chance- Mills isn’t even getting on the bench now, I’d rather have him there than Maupay or Davies. Bring back Branthwaite, tell him he’s starting every week. Play Patterson, Garner, Cannon, Warrington. Looks like the Bielsa ship has sailed but he was at least talking about building the team from the bottom up, that’s the blue print we need to follow. Especially that we’ll have very little or no momey,
