I think he did some things well in his first couple of months but I simply can’t understand some of his decisions and actions in the last few weeks. Michael Keane playing every week despite making mistakes leading to goals every game, Godfrey being played at right back, and being on last night when he had one of the worst games I can remember an Everton player having.
He’s got experience of getting Burnley out of the championship, but I don’t know what I’d do at the moment. We probably can’t afford to sack him as no one at Everton will have considered some sort of break clause at the end of this season, depending on what league we’re in.
We need a manager who will build a team, like Burnley did in getting Kompany, Brentford when they got Franke in the championship. Someone who will give young and hungry players a chance- Mills isn’t even getting on the bench now, I’d rather have him there than Maupay or Davies. Bring back Branthwaite, tell him he’s starting every week. Play Patterson, Garner, Cannon, Warrington. Looks like the Bielsa ship has sailed but he was at least talking about building the team from the bottom up, that’s the blue print we need to follow. Especially that we’ll have very little or no momey,

I think if we keep Dyche he'd bring in experienced players and our young players would be sold.

Hes said he played Godfrey over Patterson due to experience.

surely any club giving a out of work manger a job to get us out of trouble would put a relagation clause in there i mean it’s not like we beat a load of teams for his signature or poached him the fella was on the dole !

It appears as though weve given him a bonus to get us relegated.

Not supporting those saying he is as bad as lampard - very few people are as bad as that fraud.

But he's not delivered what we've needed. One sound bite about "fortress Goodison" before the Fulham game, a few weeks pass and it sounds like a joke.

Hes worse than Lampard.

Lampard made sure Keane never got close to starting.

Lampard actually played right backs.

Lampard saw Maupay was irrelevant

The only thing Dyche has done positively is gotten McNeil playing.

Literally done nothing else positive.

We should have kept Lampard and used the money spent on booting him and hiring Dyche on a forward player.

Tactics last night were kin abysmal, once a team like Newcastle break through the high press they have the pace, directness & quality to exploit you and they did it time & time again, should of played a defensive 442 stayed in the game and then 75 min either gone sh 1t or bust, amateurish tactics from Dyche, Brighton will do the same.

Don't see any point in blaming him

It's been in the making in the Moshiri era for years. Nothing could've stopped it but Moshiri and the board and they never did

next season a good few of the players who have brought us down will stlll be there , be very hard just forgetting what theyv done and move forward at least if we play the young kids it will be like a new team new start , but i don’t think dyche will give them a go

I don't watch Plymouth but Schumacher has just won manager of the year, wonder if he'd be worth a shout in the Championship?

Theyre top on 95pts...Ipswich 1behind and Sheff Wednesday sat on 90 with a better goal difference.

They play 16th and 18th placed teams needing 2pts for guaranteed promotion.

Was with us doing coaching then at Bury as 1st team coach when they got promoted.

Joined Plymouth and then just finished short of playoffs but with their best defensive record in 20 years.

Now on track for promotion.

Newcastle are the polar opposite of Everton. Howe has coached the players well- they’ve spent money but a good chunk of that team who embarrassed us aren’t exactly superstars. They’ve done that in a year. We need one of these investment groups to sweep away the current regime and put in place a proper footballing structure like Newcastle did. They have shown it can be done. Brighton and Brentford have shown it can be done starting from the Chamoionship.

Much like with players the clubs current position is going to make them end up with progressively worse managers with any kind of PL experience.
