2022/23 Sean Dyche

Every single team who have replaced their manager has done a better job. So pick any manager that was hired since we sacked Lampard (including allardyce).

But sure keep pretending there is only one manager in the entire world who can come to Everton and be crap.

Bielsa with the u23s would probably be doing a better job right now.
We didn’t need an under 23’s manager.

There is one thing that all of these managers have had in common ( bar a few players ) they have been lumbered with the same squad, we've basically just gone a season without a bloody striker.
So what do you think a sudden new manager appointment is going to be able to do any differently.

Wins in the league:
Benitez - 5 in 19
Lampard - 6 in 18
Lampard 3 in 20
Dyche - 3 in 14 (with 4 to play)

Can extrapolate them to Benitez 10 in 38, Lampard 9 in 38. Dyche is on for 8.14 in 38 if my maths is correct.

It’s astonishingly consistent appointments by the board with a slight negative trajectory.

Took over in 19th...had a new manager bounce...remain in 19th.

Poor in everything.

Again not an answer. Name the manager you want in!
Having the good sense to see that Dyche is crap and unworthy of being our manager next season doesn’t make the observer responsible for choosing his replacement.

There are lots of decent managers unattached at the moment. Hard to imagine any of them doing a worse job than the croaky satsuma.

Literally whoever you say will be the wrong answer too. I just don’t understand this “well who do you want then???” argument which is actually a non-argument. It’s completely irrelevant who I want to be our manager in an ideal world, I just know that it’s not Dyche.

If he somehow keeps us up, he deserves a go next season. Not a long term solution though.
So if this is the case why mess about for another 2/3 years then realise he is not good enough, I can tell you now he is not good enough.

For his last 43 games managing in the premier league he has won 6 games and positions been in over 3 seasons
Presently 19th 34 games
2021/22 season (Burnley 19th sacked after 30 games)
2020/21 season Burnley 17th 38 games

Alot of the pundits are like sheep. Most of them said Martinez was too small for the premier league and would be bullied. Pe and behold he’s probably been one of the best defenders in the league. I and others on here see the game how we see it and stats can be skewed to fit an agenda. But as a fan you got to trust what you see for yourself.
Agreed. Most pundits simply spout conventional wisdom. Occasionally one will say something relevant or interesting but they are few and far between. I struggle to watch much football these days out with Everton, I would rather catch a super aggressive std than watch or listen to anyone talk about football.
