Exactly. Also, does it really matter whether or not I can come up with an answer?

Mate you joke but Moshiri actually called up Jim White for some bizarro interview times, this isn't outside the realm of possibility.
 
It just sums up how far we've fallen. We had Ancelotti, one of the best ever. When he left we should have gone hard for Diego Simeone or Conte. If by some miracle we do stay up, Simeones contract runs out next summer (2024) and we should really already be preparing for his arrival by clearing the decks and leaving him a young squad to work with. No more Dyches or Allardyces.

We can't afford Simeone money, you seen how much he is on? I would be all over Potter.
There is a good manager there. Just needs the right environment.
 
Inherited an awful squad.

Not had the chance yet to make a single signing.

Has management skills, earns respect from players, and does well at getting commitment from them.

Should stay on, whether or not we go down.

I can see his management skills in the mismanagement of the game itself, the lack of subs, the bizarre tactical setups and the lack of any idea going forward other than "hoof it to big man" (or "hoof it to small man" for when he even more bizarrely starts Maupay as a lone striker).

Did you miss the bit where we are being investigated for financial impropriety, and have barely spent anything (in relative terms) for the last couple of years because we haven't got the proverbial to do our business in?

For his last 43 games managing in the premier league he has won 6 games and positions been in over 3 seasons
Presently 19th 34 games
2021/22 season (Burnley 19th sacked after 30 games)
2020/21 season Burnley 17th 38 games

Sacking managers every season isn’t the answer. At this difficult time at the club we need stability more than anything else.

You never know, if the investment/takeover happens the new people might have some ideas of their own.
