I don’t know who at Everton Football Club thought appointing a manager that’s been relegated twice in 8 years to save us from relegation was a good idea.

I don’t know who at Everton Football Club thought appointing a manager that’s been relegated twice in 8 years to save us from relegation was a good idea.
I think the focus was probably more that he was able to bring those relegated teams back up at the first time of asking. I am not saying we were an attractive proposition to managers or that there was a big resource pool to choose from, but I suspect they knew there was a very real risk of relegation - made by their own hand of course

Here's the thing,
he kept teams in the Premier League by being able to get results (in games where it was unexpected) i.e. draws.
he relegated teams in the premier league by not being able to get results (in games where it was expected) i.e. wins
I would love one of our statto's to pull up his win ratio's and draw ratio's over the his seasons in the Premier League and prove me wrong or right.
However this is my eyeballed conclusion from watching his Everton tenure so far.


He seems a very limited manager.
