Why do we do this? FFS whats wrong with putting players in their natural positions.

To be fair, Hunt is the LB normally for the U21 but he's injured so ISS has been coming in.

If he's getting a game at that level ahead of older lads (I would think he must be if he's only 16), I can't imagine he isn't a better option there than Holtgate.

Not sure the board screwed him over (although i wouldnt put it past them) i reckon he has come in and said he can work with what he has got and that was music to the ears of the board, either way we shouldnt have been left short up front like we have been, especially in the position we were in in January.

So if he gets us over the line which ive always believed he will do and still do, but do i want him here next season, no, but he will be whatever happens.

Dyche associates age with mental toughness, and though it might be the rule, Holgate/Keane are the exception

So he's sort of got more minutes because Smith got bumped up and because Kyle John got injured, that bumped up Dixon to get some more minutes for the u21s and Maher getting more minutes now for the u18.

So our lb options are either

Ishe Samuels Smith aged 16
Or Butler who hasn't had minutes for the u21s yet

Out at the start, came back for a few didn't he (Palace and Fulham I remember) think he dislocated his shoulder at either Newcastle or Fulham, cane back for Arsenal for Dyche first game then another 11 weeks out.

20 games out of 36 he's missed.

I wanted Lampard out last summer, I want Dyche out this summer and I'll want the next manager out next summer.

This is the consistency we've all yearned for.
