I'm absolutely sick to my stomach with this result and Dyche deserves a heap of blame as just looking at that teamsheet made 95% worried. It's fairly obvious we need to keep it tight and nick the odd goal so playing upfront with 2 and our midfield engines out was a complete brain fart on his part.

All that said it would be bonkers to want him out. Hopefully when we get our first team back out on the pitch things will look a lot better and it isn't his fault we have a bare cupboard when it comes to replacements. We've just been here too long not to know how it would play out. Hopefully it is lesson learnt.

And by sacking Dyche isn't that yet another change which would distract away from the board ?

If we go down this season (which I dont think we will) then a portion of the blame rests on the Lampard Loyalists who stuck by the fella despite 3 wins in 20 games and losing valuable points to nearly all our relegation rivals.

Despite that, we produced quality chances, and had a better xG than Fulham. I'm not saying that there aren't things that need to be improved, and that Dyche is beyond criticism, but despite how miserable parts of the game were today, we had enough chances to decide the game. It's more about quality than anything else.
 
Worrying signs, playing Maupay up front is completely unforgivable.

Brett Angell was a better player than Maupay.

FACT.

Let that sink in.

Dyche still well up for playing Maupay though.

After all that has happened.

Maupay is the answer.

What has happened to Dyche?

This is F*ked up.

Hope he gets questioned on this in the post match presser.

What makes it even more scandalous is that Dyche has had a tough run of games and no CF whereas Lampard had us nowhere near top 10 form at any point ere even when he had Richarlison up top.

I am fully behind Dyche but apart from winning two of the first three he has been a million miles away from top 10 form.

We are averaging 1.09 points per game under Dyche. That is 41 points for a season. That is relegation form not top 10.
 

From a Burnley fan . Great manager whilst at Burnley but he does tend to stick to the same players even when on a bad run of form and his use of subs was appalling. See McNeil scored today for you but I still think you paid over the odds for him. UTC
