People thought he made the sensible choice about godfrey regarding the leceister game he was just injured if hes being so obstinate about Keane I think godfrey coming back into the starting eleven once hes fit is a serious concern

Didn’t we spend nearly £100m last summer? They’ve spent a good deal less than we have on their squad so I’m not sure what he’s getting at here.

Our big fee was Onana for 30/35, but basically we bought him on Klarna. Same with McMeil for 15 mil. Our actual outlay in the summer was probably ~30 mil. I imagine he's just giving them credit for spending well.

Just spent £30m on Joao Pedro, it's their biggest fee ever, also a lot of talk down here about them being in for Alex Scott at Bristol City who will cost £20m, so yeah they spend money. They will sell on though and it looks like Mac Allister will leave, possibly even to the RS but they want £60m for him.
The whole club at Brighton seems to be run on a very very different philosophy that we have seen at ours, great academy set up, DOF who actually is allowed to DOF seen really by the fact that when Potter left and he was replaced it was virtually seamless, buying in future talent, look who they have compared to who we have and even at £50 million which to them is probably a lot they will recoup that perhaps with 2 sales if they go down that route at end of this season.

To my original point though as I have veered somewhat, We cant throw "spent big money" at anyone else when our Glass House has more crack than Huyton on a Saturday night!
brighton? I looked at that last year. They spent 72m one year when potter was there. On ten players. Works out at about 7m a player. Isnt their record signing still Mwepu for 20m? Thats still not anything for a prem club these days as a record signing.

Id say they've bought well. Not expensively.

They have bought well, no one is denying that. Tbh, hearing about how well Brighton recruit is almost as boring these days as hearing about how badly we've recruited.
