I was never a Moyes fan to be honest and in the in the pre -Kenwright era he would have been disposed of after 4 seasons of no success. But given that we were saddled with an owner who lacked any ability to fund the club (despite the massive amounts of money the club received every season) he was given forbearance from most , understandably.
Lampard got more leeway because his vision of the football he wanted us to eventually play was shared by many of the supporters.
In all honesty the differences between Lampard and Dyche are aesthetic, the reality is both have struggled to plot a path out of the relegation zone.
Both have failed and have proven
patently unfit to be Everton managers.
Dyche is just the latest name in a growing list of substandard appointments.
4th, 5th, 6th, 7th for like 7 times in 10 years. Where were we after he was gone?

That's a pretty brazen move by Dysche to jeopardize the highest profile appointment in his career by continously playing somebody well established as calamitous liability, maybe he's pulling an ivan toney and sabotaging us to ensure his bet pays off

I am starting to believe that Dyche is deliberately trying to relegate us, look at the facts plays Coady 4 games wins 2 then drops him, plays Keane wins 1 out of 11 games and concedes twice as many goals over 10 games than Coady did over the same amount of games.

Keane concedes a penalty saying to the ref it hit him on the forearm not his hand lol
Dyche praises him
Meanwhile Coady who had been picked for England before Dino Dyche got here is never to be seen again

Done the same with gray, finally found a formation that was working for us, and it just looked like he was desperate too get away from it and get Maups back in the team. Gives Simms his full debut at Anfield not Goodison, and than away again at Arsenal for his 2nd taste.. Who does that 🤔

Fair play to him he is getting us the chances now, but I don't want a chances created stat, I want a 'Goals for' stat going in our favour !!

'Never a Moyes fan' after what we had suffered through before and since his appointment.

God you must be a hard man too please !!!!

Thats a very damming stat on Dyche. And you're right. 4 games 2 wins 2 clean sheets in those 4 under him. Thats not a bad return and if a manager is going to drop someone to justify it then what comes in must clearly be better......
1 win in 11 and shipped goals galore isnt justifying it.

One players been dropped quickly and the other, according to the manager is playing brilliantly. Eh? 😏

No matter how you look at that it doesnt look good or feel right.

I warned about this sort of crap happening when Dyche was newly appointed and it has unfolded as what I thought it would be. Dyche is yesterday's news and needs to be binned to the thrash heap of outdated football managers. A young and progressive coach from Europe would be my preference.

Not really,
I just remember Everton when we were good.
I regard Moyes in the same way as Lee, decent but ultimately not good enough
And Lee didn’t get over a decade either.
