2023/24 Sean Dyche

Point against Villa who would’ve gone top
Point away at Fulham where we should’ve pinched it at the end
Point against top 4 Spurs who are scoring for fun in a game where Richarlison scored a couple of class goals

Not just that, we deserved all the points and defended really well and created loads of (missed) chances

If we can start putting away some of these chances we’re comfortably midtable whatever they do with point deductions

WTF are people on about, we’re on 29 points. It’s not his fault we don’t have a player who can finish or the fact VAR ignores every penalty appeal we have.
Some ppl think, we should compete with Man City. We played 2 teams at home in a row that will play European football next season and were even against both and got a deserved draw. I mean that's good. Should win against Palace in 2 weeks ofc.

Is this yet another Dyche cock up that's bit him on the arse in playing Godfrey at right back when proper right backs eye available? Hopefully he doesn't repeat that, even though Godfrey made a few good blocks. Spurs battered us down that side in the first half.

Godfrey had Werner on toast mate. He got in once by being three years offside.

When they overloaded him for the goal with that Ndoggie or whatever his name was they got in yeah but Godfrey played well, even offered threat going forward with his pace in behind their high line which would’ve been why we did it

Yeah, Godfrey played well. Second match in a row he's been matched with a very quick player and somewhat unsurprisingly wasn't bothered by it at all.

A zero going forward but that's not why he's on the pitch.

It’s genuinely remarkable. Not only is 29 points a very good tally with the squad available, the stats say we should have more. Relative to squad size, quality and cost we are having a very good season.
