They took a while to adjust to the league and now that they have , their home form is quite good while ours has 3 wins all season.

I worry that unless we change our thinking at home we will be getting relagated … undeservedly , but still going down.

Think they are three defenders and a bit of depth away from not worrying about relegation mate.

Though year two can be tricky, in the PL after promotion.

The problem with our home form is identity, we are internally a big club, yet on the field we still have limited quality - we go at teams at home that leaves is more vulnerable and they sit back and try and counter, the home and away thing is based on expectation, mentality, identity and quality IMO.

It’s fine to sit back in games like this but you have to have at least some threat going forward. A line of Young, Harrison, and Mcniel was never going to be able to counter. Just take some risks from time to time Sean and change it up.

The midfield needed help, if Onana can do 25mins surely he could do 35/40. And throw hunt on, just get him in the middle pressing and throwing tackles in.

Ok they didn’t have a lot of shots on target, but they were dominating in the 2nd half we were getting a lot of block in around the box and they were picking up a lot of balls around the box. Did you really think we were comfortable, the players were starting to feel the pressure, it takes it out on the players chasing the ball constantly. And you said this was always going to be the result

Ashley young over Dobbin makes no sense to me. Dobbin can at least somewhat stretch things. Young just jogged around, left Godfrey on an island, and then came off. Id also suggest onana should’ve been on sooner and Garner could’ve played where Harrison was. There were options. Not great ones, but options.

I’d love to see the team with some actual athleticism on the flanks and while he doesn’t have a ton of choices on this front he refuses to use the ones he does have
