Got to disagree. We have shown we capitulate and down tools very easily. We also under Lampard and Rafael we can defend poorly and showing no attacking intent.

We don’t have the strongest of defences and lack in midfield creativity.
Agree I've said this too.

Our problems on field are more than just lacking a striker

that's why I said 45/60 min v fulham
Same difference. If you want to decide these things best go and get a sports science degree and see if you can do a better job. In the interim i will trust in those who are doing their best to get DCL back fit long term. IMO that didnt include putting him back in a PL match for any amount of minutes until the same trained experts (and himself) feel he is fully fit and ready to go. The 90 minute freindly was part of that process.

Not really defensive them but what strikers did they have?

Fat kopite pig opted against medical advice and sidelined DCL for 2 years, who also proceeded to sell James and isolate our only attacking fullback which has impacted us greatly

But, give either of them a fully fit DCL and we’d see the same outcome as Dyche. There is nothing special about this man at all

I'm not going down this road again by blaming the manager. The issue is the board. The board must be laughing their head off at us. Full.house every week. Just sack the manager and the fans will be happy for 8 months.
Yup. Sean Dyche is the manager because the club has been run into the ground and that does not seem to be changing any time soon.

I’ve no problem with Dyche. He’s not who I would want in an ideal world but tbh for a club in our position and with our utterly useless board what do we expect? Past caring tbh lol

Exactly man! Unbelievable. I suppose we repetitively continue to turn on our manager and the players (and each other) because the problem people in the board will not budge in any situation. So lets let the board take the easy route, aim venim at the front facing manager and take the heat off the board.

I agree with most of that but a few points,

With a fit squad and incoming striker, he keeps us up. I genuinely cannot think iof another manager with ANY credentials that would come here

As for when to sack him, we need stability.

We aren’t wining anything under any manager for the foreseeable future, every time we sack a manager we go backwards and that was even when we had money

We need to win on Sunday, absolutely, but sack him, pay compo to him and his team, spend weeks finding a replacement who could very well be worst….,, what do we do???

Yep completely agree.

I was mortified when we got him, but sacking him now would be beyond stupid.

Yes, but other than universal lack of character and commitment, zero defensive competence, no midfield creativity, and total attacking ineptitude, do you think we have any weaknesses?

I'm glad he gets a ha ha out of us, but it sucks supporting the worst run organization in Europe and he should understand our frustration.

I don't need a Sports science degree to know 45/60min is not the 'same difference' as 90min
Just need basic maths
Ridiculous thing to say
We didn't score despite loads of big chances
Not playing Dom, even for 20min in that game, is a choice the Manager and his team made, and it cost us
There is no other way to dress that up

Not gunning for him at all.
Just stop with the keane thing ffs. If its stubbornness i'll change that first line pretty quickly.

I didnt suggest you needed a sports science degree to understand minutes - im saying you would probably need one to understand best practice to bring back a player back to full physical and mental fitness where they have had a dreadful history of injuries.
You are talking about 45/60 mins of a PL game being the same as a 90 minute behind closed doors knock about.
As i say DCL wasnt ready for any minutes of a PL game or i think he would have played. Thats why i say 'same difference', as he was not ready for even 5 mins of a PL game until he had finished the 90 minute knock about with no niggles or issues. It also wasnt just Seans decision on whether to play him, DCL has been having a big say on whether he feels physically and mentally ready to play 100% in a PL game. He wasnt ready, end of!
