I am amused by the way you insert quotation marks around the idea of entertainment 😀
It begs the question what exactly you attend a game of football for?
Some form of self inflicted punishment?

Similar to what @Neiler said really. Be competitive against anyone so the opposition respect playing against us knowing they'll be in for a game.

Moyes brought that back with functional football until he was able to add some flair/quality. He's doing the same at West Ham and their fans want him out cos it's not "entertaining".

I put entertainment in quotations because it's personal taste. Results are more important than entertainment.

And a broken club isn't able to put on any kinda show.

Yes thats what I said really if we lose on Saturday then its probably the straw that breaks the camels back for me but if we win then it levels out again as a decent performance in the season overall which is what matters at the end of the day. I try not to get too carried away with good runs or bad runs and focus on the bigger picture which right now is just staying up and trying to live to fight another day however depressing that might be.
You sound like dyche.
You just need to add to your post.
It’s a seasons work.
Hes back on the grass
Burnley are a good outfit
We played well

Yes but even marco silva’s football was much better than this. The argument from dyche fan boys has always been who cares about the style as long as we’re winning, well we are now on our longest winless run in 67 yrs. so that argument is out the window
As I have said before, in days gone by he would have been sacked by now. It’s not really acceptable for a club of Everton’s stature to be serving up this kind of football combined with recent results. Yes mitigating factors a plenty but it’s dire.

If he gets us over the line and the ownership is resolved then I would hope it’s thanks very much Sean and we move on with someone else. Just can’t see there being a sacking this season.

Thought he did well last night . picked a team to try and keep it tight. made the changes and we looked much better and more urgent ..point in a game like this is ok. leave him alone !

Indeed
And my patience is about to expire.
Only reason I renewed for next season was to say goodbye to what has been my second home for 6 decades .
If nothing improves next season I won’t be saying hello to BMD .
Oh , and I can vouch for the fact we were also very entertaining in the 60’s.
We weren’t even too bad in the barren 70’s
The late 60's side, which peaked with the championship in 1970, was the most entertaining Everton side I've seen. From 66 to 70 the football was often breathtaking. Thanks for reminding me about those times. I'm fairly sad about Everton at the moment.

So it's all down to Dycheball and not the actual no mark players? Just wanted this clarifying as I get easily confused about everything GOT and Everton
He sets them up and does the tactics, picks the players and formation. And controls the in game management, which is basically non existent. Like someone said the other day it’s not just the soldiers than win wars, it on the generals. If the foods crap in a restaurant it’s on the head chef.

Sean Dyche is going nowhere, the man o' steel will ride out this slight drop we're encountering and have us challenging for mid-table mediocrity in no time ;)
Yes in the championship. The game’s moved from this dinasour. He thinks he’s Joe kinnear

So we should ignore the bigger picture? A point at newcastle is a fine result but that doesn’t change the reality of what the last 3-4 months have been. No wins in 13 is that reality and that starts and ends with Dyche.
I reckon is starts with ownership, the poor running of the club, ends with the lack of quality in the team and somewhere in the middle is Dyche.
We squad with no match winners, no pace, no trickery. And no way to fund those players coming in

Has dyche ever approached a game with the intent to win it? Seems like it just happens when it does occur
