It's demonstrably better. Add in the deducted points and he has us well clear of the drop. That was the challenge both had - to keep us clear.

Dyche is no saviour - but he's a far better manager than the popular fraud who people here ejaculated over on a regular basis.
This season is arguably easier to stay up with the 3 teams that come up worse than the 3 that went down.
He has a better squad than what Lampard had last season. Lampard was a poor manager, but dyche is only performing slightly better

The deducted points are only worth 8 points, that's not even 3 wins worth of points, what about the 6 points out of a possible 39 that he has presided over? that's what has really cost us this season, it's a shocking run whatever way you try and dress it up. As for Dyche vs Lampard well he has many more years experience as a manager on Frank yet their records are not dissimilar.

It’s not a binary choice between Lampard and Dyche .
It’s an indicator of how far we have fallen though that we now engage in debate about which is the worst of two poor managers.
Neither of them are good enough to be an Everton manager.

The Lampard lovers just won't accept he was deservedly potted. They've had it out for Dyche from day one.
I lost all faith in Dyche months ago - but the notion he is not a better manager than Frank Lampard is hilarious. Even if one were to concede that they are both of an equal status - which I don't - isn't it incredible how people dropped their knickers for Frank despite him presiding over some of the most appalling results in our history, with people like Richarlison to pick.

Lampard - and how he was venerated - is all the proof you need that the Premier League is a triumph of packaging over content.

Don’t think I’ve seen one fan say Lampard is better than dyche. Lampard is considered by many one of our worst ever managers. But in years to come fans picking our best and worst ever managers. Don’t kid yourself, dyche will also be in the worst group. Yea he can pick up the odd result , but this is some of the worst football I’ve ever seen in 45yrs supporting Everton

Lampard failed and was dismissed .
Who cares about him now ?
Apart from you obviously.

Nah, I just find it fascinating how image dictates so much in the Premier League - and Evertonians are as bad as anybody else for eulogising glamour despite our self-regard and image as being down to Earth. Lampard was abysmal and Dyche is utterly uninspiring, if vaguely competent. You could argue they were much of a muchness (though that flatters Fraudulent Fan-Friendly Frank), but there is no doubt one was given ridiculous amounts of "love" while the other was merely tolerated. I find the diference fascinating.

Truth is we are a car crash of a club and those wishing for more will have to wait until the summer at the very earliest and probably much longer than that.

I never said otherwise. Amazing how defensive of Frank people still get around here.
