2023/24 Sean Dyche

Better options on the flanks and a player who can make things happen around the edge of the box would boost us. Dyche will always have an organised defence no matter the personnel.

Going to need two or three in the middle of the park too sadly; would much rather us spend "big" on an Arteta type midfielder who can graft but brings a bit of technical ability - Gomes but not too slow for the league, basically. Gomes, Gana, Onana all needing replacing, plus Branthwaite, plus Harrison - its a big summer for sure.

This reposnse is ridiculous though. Im just an average Everton fan. Doesnt matter if I name 6 random managers, im not qualified to be making those decisions. As a professional club in a multibillion pound industry, you would expect us to employ some very qualified people whose actual job it is to make these decisions. Its their job to study, analyse data, gather information on professional managers with a view to future replacements.

Some absolute brainwashing going on with this club, having us believe that Dyche and his dinosaur football is the best we can achieve and we are lucky to have such a manager.

Look at what Moyes has done at West Ham and they are looking to move upwards from him. Yet you would have posters desperate to get him back too.
West Ham have spent an absolute fortune ha

It's nothing to do with brainwashing mate people just trot out this nonsense shout like "get rid" and "got to go' and offer zero explanation why we should get rid of a manager who has improved us and offer no reasonable candidates to who it should be.

Genuinely mate all I'd like is Blues to have a little think and go it's should be....insert name

Not hard, Jesus wept.

Garner, Gueye and and Doucoure will remain, IMO. But we could do with a Carsley-type / McCarthy (first season here) holding player. Gueye cant do that.

No one believes that.

Those of us who live in reality understand the limitations that currently dictate our situation and understand that someone of Dyche's skill set is the best fit for now. Horses for courses. How is this so difficult to understand for some???
Read this thread. Loads of people believe that. Loads.

Palace and forest would prob take branthwait and Pickford… they’d take their chance with the rest of their squad.
We have no one with the threat of eze, olise. Elanga, Hudson odoi, Chris wood is massively more dangerous than our front three.
That’s on the manager imo. Nobody on this planet would swap Chris wood for DCL last summer. Wood got 3 goals for Newcastle and Elanga and CHO have 5 goals, not a lot difference than McNeil and Harrison and forest play more attacking football than us.

Olise has played 14 games and Eze 23. I did say we don’t have players like them
Two but they missed a lot of games

Done well at Huddersfield and West Brom to be fair.

@ForeverBlue92 hears this a lot - is there any proof of this ?

Doing well with a Championship side is surely getting them in a position to ride home into auto promotion ? He seems decent but nothing special at this stage.

If he was called Carl Cobin and Dyche was called Sebastian Dychinho the hipsters would be saying the reverse.

They did.

Silva, Big Sam and Koeman all have better records than your Messiah.
Don’t engage. Can’t debate with complete delusion. Dyche is untouchable to him.. Slates players when we lose, up Dyche’s rectum everytime we get a point of 3. He went missing on this thread from December onwards..and only appeared recently.. shocking 😮

Stevie Wonder can keep us with Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton in the league but apparently he’s doing an outstanding job according to that moron.

Oh I don't disagree that changing managers has contributed to our current financial mess, but aside from maybe Silva I'd argue that all of them were sacked rightfully. (Ancelotti left on his own of course).
And chasing the make believe dream is what it's all about. If you don't want your club to try to win something, what's the point?
Dreams are attainable but not the way that we have gone about it.

Really though what is the point of football these days? Leicester lived the dream and the big boys just swarmed in and took all their players and they were swatted back down to where they "belong".

There has to be a bit of realism too.
