He didnt want to touch the first team here. He might be a bit mad but he isnt stupid.
Bielsa's style and the first team here would have been as car crash as you could get. Relegated.
That’s not my argument. It’s the fact moshiri wanted him over dyche, he was his first choice

xmas? why not the whole season

anyway back to the point money doesn’t always talk mate - the off
the field mess isn’t a draw
I'm just thinking out loud lid, if we look like we're in trouble again. Mad Mosh usually pulls the trigger in Dec/Jan.

I agree about the off field mess, but money always talks. A big enough 'save us from the drop' bonus and fellas will come, it won't be needed for now like.

To be fair to Dyche. We've actually won 38 points this season so far. Likely to exceed this. So that's an improvement. Albeit a small improvement over last few seasons.

39 points with Wayne Rooney in the team?

MOYES OUT

Let’s face it Everton is dead
We are a zombie club
Lurching from one relegation struggle to another
Stripped of all purpose except survival
The last time we had anything to celebrate was 1995
We have been irrelevant for nearly 3 decades
We think people care we’ve only been relegated twice
No one but us cares about our survival
Our decline has been a gradual one .
But we have accepted it.
Dyche is the symptom not the cause.
And as if that decline wasn’t enough we have now been saddled by stadium we can’t afford and will be a millstone around our neck for at least a generation.
But none of that means we can’t aspire to playing some form of football , not this dead eyed stuff Dyche serves up .
If we are doomed to continue our irrelevant meaningless mid table existence let’s at least try to do it trying to play a form of football that hints at what we once were , even if we are destined to never emulate it .
I would love to look forward to going to the match again , instead of regarding it as a chore that must be done .

@ForeverBlue92 hears this a lot - is there any proof of this ?

Doing well with a Championship side is surely getting them in a position to ride home into auto promotion ? He seems decent but nothing special at this stage.

If he was called Carl Cobin and Dyche was called Sebastian Dychinho the hipsters would be saying the reverse.
Fruit loop you lad.

He took over Huddersfield they had finished 18th in his first season he finished 20th next season he got them 3rd and they lost in the play off final to Forest. He left and the next season back to 18th

He took over West Brom when they were 2nd from bottom and got them to 9th last season and this season they’re 5th in the play off. I’d also guess that both clubs were nowhere near the biggest spenders and competing with prem clubs and there parachute payments
rest

blueboy72 you have given two examples of Corberan getting into the playoff spots as evidence of his managerial prowess yet just yesterday you stated that Dyche finishing in the european places was a fluke season.
The old European chestnut

It was what 8yrs ago and after that they stated to fall like a stone and he couldn’t change the story and got relegated 🤣

Fluke seasons happen. Nuno got wolves 7th twice would you want him? Chris wilder got Sheffield Utd 9th a few seasons ago. Look at Moyes early years. 17th,4th, 11th. Leicester 1st then 9th

You can then seasons where everything falls for you,
No injuries, luck with ref decisions etc. I wouldn’t expect him to keep Burnley 7th, but after moyes’s early years he kept us top 8, 8 seasons running. Once Burnley started to drop he had no answer.

You appear happy to crown every other managers achievements yet when it comes to Dyche, every win is always lucky, every achievement is a fluke.

This is why the dreamers cannot be taken seriously. Now don't get me wrong, this Carlos chap may well be decent, yet he has failed to do what many so called "rubbish" managers on 'ere have managed to do (Benitez, Dyche, Biesla, Nuno) thats get their teams promoted to the land of milk and honey.

Even Kompany looked like Guardiola down there, ultimately its a big jump in quality between the PL & fizzy pop league. Dyche has proven to be able to manage in this division. The question is, can Corberan ?

mad mosh would of sold us!

plus a manager who has anything about him won’t wanna come for a pay day
