….that’s the job of the DoF.

I think he’s being very pragmatic. Any monies spent is more likely to go on players who can hit the ground running rather than prospects for 2 seasons time. I’m sure he’d still welcome Academy graduates if they’re good enough but there’s not much happening on that front.

Branthwaite was about a couple of mill and then 2 years of development before breaking into the first team.

Currently we don't have another one lined up. Branthwaite is sold... we'll need a 1st team player

You just completely ignored my point to make other points whilst blaming a manager for something he didn't do. What are you rambling on about.
We all know how’s only been at the club 18 months, what do you want me to do agree with you. I was saying he’s making excuses for not bringing through or giving game time to youngsters, he’s already said there’s nothing coming through, which send a brilliant message to the kids. He was at Burnley for 10yrs with not a lot of money,
So why didn’t he say, right we’re going to develop the academy and have a plan.

He’d rather go and buy prem ready players, even if they’re second rate. Like Ben Gibson for 17mil he played 1 game and they sold him at a big loss 2yrs later. Surley for 17mil they could have got a young CB with potential, but dyche probably wanted Gibson because he’s 25 and had prem experience. And he’s dyche ready.

You're having a go at him for there not being kids coming through. It's a mental take. I cbf reading past this to be honest. If the academy gets sorted out today, we're gonna have to wait 3-4 years minimum for new talent to come through. Come on Dyche, get on with it.

Some are forgetting we sold the best of the academy off last season.

It's as if you think he ran Burnley from top to bottom and was given an open cheque book. Name one top manager who hasn't signed the odd duff player (not suggesting Dyche is a top manager or he wouldn't be at Everton). He'll be our manager for the start of next season,get used to it.

Please find where I’ve said it’s Dyche’s fault no kids are coming through
I’ll wait

‘There is no time for development, this club hasn’t got time for that.’

Sean Dyche...

What an absolute Benitez statement.
Yep, I don't agree with that.

Mills for one looks good enough for first team chances this summer.

As for complaining about having to sell to buy: that's the boat we were in for years before Moshiri came along, and it's one Dyche is familiar with already in his brief period here, so I don't know what he's complaining about. A lot of PL clubs have to operate that way. It's not ideal, but it's not impossible to sell and invest correctly and come out of it with a better first team squad.

Well simms and cannon aren’t good enough and aren’t prem level and dyche wouldn’t have give them a chance anyway, they would have just sat where Chermiti has

If they're not good enough...of course he wouldn't play them. And if they're not prem level, they're still the best of the academy.

So brings us back to Dyche's point

I’ve already said he did t have a lot of money, but I also said why didn’t he get together with the dof and start to work on developing the academy. Who came through in 10yrs McNeil??
I know he will be our manager, I also know he won’t be in 2yrs and let’s hope the new owners have a better plan to move Forward than the last owner and board

But is Beto better than Chermiti?? Not from what I’ve seen, Chermiti looks much more talented, but dyche would rather play the bigger, stronger more experienced player, even if he’s rubbish

In the last few appearances Chermitti looks like he's packed on more muscle and seems used to the pace of the game to me.

Possibly right that he's been given limited time on the field to get up to speed.

The club will probably think we've currently got a 45-50 point squad, so going into next season with a weaker squad should just about see us to safety.

Branthwaite -->
Keane <--

Harrison -->
Dobbin <--

Onana -->
No replacement in

Can honestly see that.
