As a bit of a random aside here - I hope he continues to ditch the suit in favour of a trackie next season. Looks proper school teacher-esque in a suit no matter what his ma thinks

That Dyche will be gone by jan, that the prospective new owners will be actually be the new owners, that they won't like Dyche, that they already don't like Dyche, that we will go on a long winless run.

Hmmm...isnt everthing a assumption then?

You assume the sun will rise in the moring. You dont 100% no for a fact it will but the probability is very high.

Same with my post.

Im sure theres a alternative universe where dyche kicks us on and takes us back to the glory days. But the probability of this being that universe aren't looking good.

Dyches time at everton he's had a 1 win in 10, 1 win in 7 and a 14 game winless streak breaking a near 60 year record in the process. The chances of this happening again are not uncommon.

These numbers make for grim reading…

Shocking and some people will tell you he deserves another contract for playing terrible football and limping to the bare minimum required of him in this job.

Shades of kenwright in this to me. People caring more about being able to identify with someone rather then whether their actually good at the job theyve been hired to do

You're comparing a guess on the new opinions that have had no publicity on the matter with a solar certainty with a consistent track record of 4.7 billion years

@Bluewolf That is shocking I don’t believe he deserves a new contract but definitely deserves another year in the job to hopefully get a similar points tally, or slightly better would again be progress small steps. Then new ground and hopefully a new manager and not sure whether Dyche would be out of contract by then or not but would be minimal outlay to relieve him of any outstanding months remaining. Who knows but I will feel better once the takeover is done.

One in 60 years chance of it happening again

Not really im more showing how boring being pedantic is.

If you want to say thats my opinion then obviously you'd be correct but my point is if people are going to get on his back when he hits one of his usual prolonged 1 win in x streaks. Then he might as well be rid now.

Any owner whos happy to sit there and back a manager that has show he consistently has these winless streaks. Isnt any type of owner i want at my club.

Judging by the fact that the fiedkin group has shown at roma they wont hesitate to cut a manager adrift who they think isnt living up to their standards. Id say in my opinion dyches day as everton manager are numbered.

My two thoughts on dyche are,

1) hes not a very good manager, plays terrible loosing football, has terrible in game management, only knows one way to play, relies on his favourites too often, wont play youth, doesnt make subs and hasnt really improved any of our squad through coaching them.

2) he'll get sacked anyway this season so whats the point

How many games are there before Jan?

It would have to a very immediate winless run with the guess work on the new owners unknown opinions on Dyche included.

No chance he's gone by Jan imo and if he is then we've either hit a disaster of lampard sized proportions or the new owners are trigger happy idiots, not the type if owner that would be desirable.

By January last season he'd already been on a 1 win in 7 and 1 win in 9 runs in that season.

Is that a disaster or is that trigger happy territory to you?

Where are you getting the second winless run from by January last season? I can see the 1 in 7 run but not the second run.

Based on last seasons form, position, points earned and other metrics including I would not only call sacking Dyche in January trigger happy, I would call it rank stupidity.
