He is a very uninspiring football manager, as we suspected he might be. I expected him to be defensively solid though. Still waiting on that.
He changed his tune from last season. At the end of the season it was "time for Everton to start acting like a big club again". Now it's "what do you expect" and "fans need to be realistic". Scott parker got binned for saying the same at Bournemouth and Gary O'Neill completely turned them round.

Acting like a big club was probably aimed at the board too.

Keeping him in my eyes is just prolonging the inevitable.

There's an international break now, this is the best time to make a management change.
People need to put this away. He ain't going anywhere. We can't afford to sack another manager.

'We go with what we've got' is the saying I believe

Oh my days I wasnt inspired originally , but thought hmmmm hes done ok at Burnley even though I know nothing about Burnley..see how it pans out..I really really cant take to him anymore already. we are in deep deep doo doo..the only player he hasnt touched with his Dychefit was the best player this week kin Beto..

The only argument in my eyes for him staying is that we've missed the window to change manager and it would take way too long for:

1. The board to dither about and appoint another manager

2. Said manager to implement his style with players he didn't bring in.

The time to do it was straight after last season, Bournemouth did it despite O'Neil doing a better job than Dyche.

I just find him dead annoying and if you're gonna play pragmatic footy, you better get results and he doesn't.

But I do agree with what you're saying.
