Dyche you should be knocking on Mr Moshiri's door and saying I need a striker, also if things are not working on the pitch change it, consistently doing the same thing game after game is certainly not getting you any plaudits.

Ps Don't ever try and pull the wool over an Evertonians eyes as you will be found out and cannon balled out of the club
Fulham are a poor side but have left Goodison Park with 3 points today for the 2nd time under your watch in just under 4 months

I think this is a fair assessment. There is still a clear trajectory of improvement under Dyche and if we can carry on that improvement with two key attackers we'll be fine. It's on others to do that.

It's not a high bar but that team performance today was better than anything we saw last season under Lampard other than maybe the home game against Palace when for one game only we learned to play football.

….agree, Tony.

Needs a striker.

Last year the players couldn’t last 25 minutes without blowing out their arses because they were so unfit.
The energy was there yesterday, so he’s doing something right.

You’re almost plying with 10-men when you play Maupay and when you’re expected to be in a relegation fight, that simply won’t do.

But energy levels yesterday gave me enough confidence that we’ll be fighting deep into games and if we’re ahead will be able to hold a lead.

I can see why you think it is and it maybe borne out of frustration. But I stand by what I say re Keane, Iwobi and Maupay.

If we get better players into the team then of course he deserves a chance but I do feel its a valid concern re having chermiti, DCL, Danjuma plus two others.

Do you honestly see him dropping Iwobi for any of those?

How can he also not trust Keane enough to play v Bournemouth but start him today?

I may also be pedantic but playing Garner on the right is a total waste of his talent too. He should be built around as opposed to shoved on the wing.
lopetegui would last 1 month with our 💩 show. Just don't understand people suggesting manager replacements after 1 game where we dominated in terms of chances created, which in my opinion, is one of the most important aspects of the game.

Grouping iwobi with those 2 clowns is crazy. Iwobi created a lot of our chances yesterday, criticising him is unfair when he was completely fine. He has a place in the team but that's down the middle. He simply is not a winger. Dyche isn't going to drop the most creative player statistically last season!

Agree on your other points, Keane should not be playing and Garner is not a winger.

Dyche needs to prove he can develop as a manager. We celebrate the team being fit. That’s a minimum of any competent manager so let’s not go over the top

The in game management is poor. Surely Woan and Stones should be in his ear saying we need to change this.

We need to develop the younger players like Branthwaite now. Not be forced into it when Keane’s played 10 games and made countless errors

Energy doesn’t win matches , flair, skill and goals do!! We haven’t any. mostly league one players if that’s not desrrspectful to them. Two lads on the bench yesterday who could have helped wont learn anything watching that crap!!

Let down by poor finishing in the first half which is on the players. He had set us up well and it worked.

Let himself down in the second half by not responding to what was happening quick enough and waiting until 73mins to make a change. Yet again, his in game management was really poor.

That’s a bit harsh imo it’s not like we had a lot of options on the bench of course he could have made subs earlier but I wouldn’t say it’s likely they would have helped and there’s a chance it could have made us worse.

We did have 3 forwards on the bench who are all desperate to prove themselves.

I understand alot of the counter arguments!

'We played well'
'Goal shouldnt of been disalowed'
'Better than anything under lampard'
'He's been let down by not getting a striker in'

All are very true.....especially the last one, that is a perfect example of how the club are ran and the brainlessness to not understand the importance of picking up as many points from a favourible opening fixture list.

But......Fulham were there for the taking! They will not be very good this season and the Dycheism's pre & in game get me so infuriated.
We all knew what his line up was going to be! His obsession with needing to shoehorn michael keane into the team, playing 2 wingers who.....well.....arent actually wingers and his decision to go with and stick with Maupay!
Fulham made 3 changes before we even had subs warming up and that changed the game.
Danjuma, Cannon, Dobbin even Gomes could of contributed in an attacking way before they scored and we then had to chase the game.
None of these things are just pointed towards this game, they can also of been pointed at him during Dyches 1 win in 11 games last season!
His stubborness and his 'i know better' demeanor really wind me up!

I know alot of people will scoff, but you are allowed to think the club have let the manager down AND think the manager isnt very good!
A better manager/coach wins that with the same group of players

That’s a very positive way of looking at it I think most people would say he had 3 forwards on the bench one who was had 2 failed spells in the premier league one who will be on loan in the championship in a week or two and one who didn’t have a great loan in league one last year so I do think it’s a bit harsh because two of the players you are talking about were very unlikely to make a difference.

You’re not going to improve Maupay in training. We need a new CF and new cover for the new CF. That’s the only way we’ll be finishing off these chances.
Thats Chermiti.
If he thinks Tom Cannon is worse then Maupay then why would we loan someone that bad and not sell them

You cannot tell me Cannon will do worse than what we've seen from Maupay. The lack of conviction in front of goal is remarkable
Its odd. If he thinks Cannon is worse than Maupay then sell him and Maupay.

Even pennies gets us a good forward on loan.

To be fair to Maupay here he did a lot of running and pressing. Also that close range shot the keeper saved with his chest was a nightmare of a chance, way harder than people think. The shot he fired narrowly wide early on would have been classed as a great effort had it been calvert lewin. The 3rd miss was bad and should have been tucked away by anyone classed as a striker.
They were all shocking misses. Hes the centre forward version of Iwobi.
Dyche please sell Iwobi. 6 goals in 5 years and 120 appearances as an attacking midfielder. A goal every 20 matches. Ridiculous.

Runs around alot...cant hit a barn door. See Iwobi and Maupay.

Dyche picked them and Keane...its on him that we didnt score.

That's not Danjuma's position though it'll just be like when we had Gray up top - awful.

Consider the level Cannon and Dobbin have been playing at. Maupay would also score goals playing in the Championship - he has done plenty in the past.

Cannon would be worth a go ahead of him but his move to Preston is imminent and is part of his development, we shouldn't have to risk him and jeopardise that just because the useless idiots at the club are failing to bring another striker in.

Have you seen Danjuma's stats when he has played as a forward? im guessing not

35 games 17 goals.
