Yes, run away when you get called out for some of the ridiculous stuff you spout.

You ridicule Bill Kenwright as being a fool, but hes convinced the likes of some here to forget hes at fault and instead blame someone else. Doing his very bidding. In his pocket.

What in god’s name are you on about. This is the Sean Dyche thread. Go to the Kenwright thread to see how in his pocket I am.

Back on topic. Dyche is doing a terrible job.

Avoiding the issue as expected. Some people support someone openly. Other people dont even notice how easily they are manipulated, but in the end find themselves doing the very work of the one they deride. PR people get paid big money to cast blame or controversies so that the simpler public will focus their time and efforts on the real problems, and they are really good at it.

A lot of unnecessary criticism of Dyche in here.

A manager’s job is to set his team up to create more clear cut chances than the opposition, thus giving the team a better chance of winning the game.

He has done that in 3 of the 4 league games so far.

Had the board sanctioned Beto before the opening game, I’m convinced we’d have won both home games, and probably beaten Sheff Utd too as he’d have had more time to integrate.

Dyche is doing a very good job in difficult circumstances and we should be backing him, not slating him. Besides, who would even take the job, let alone do better with this squad?

Back the manager. We’ll be fine this season.
A managers job is to win as many games as he can.
And both currently and historically that hasn’t been Dyche’s outstanding feature .

Haven’t avoided the issue whatsoever, I’m talking specifically about the manager because this is the manager’s thread. You trying to go off on a tangent about Kenwright is avoiding the issue of discussing the manager’s performance because you probably know deep down that he’s been utterly abject but don’t want to face it.

Funny you should mention people being manipulated doing the bidding of the board because that’s exactly what Dyche does with his press conference waffle before every game. He’s the one covering their arses more than anyone, an absolute bootlicker he is.

Ah so the board and money spent has no effect the manager. And you can criticize the manager, but then "its not your job" to discuss who could do it better on an internet forum. Running away.

Considering all of the things that have no impact of the actual win-loss metrics you claim are the only important part, you care so much about whether an employee that likely has a clause in his contract not allowing it, openly blasts his employers. Absolutely bizarre to most people.

I’m sorry what is the point in me just arbitrarily naming managers who I think are better than him? Graham Potter, there you go, there’s a manager that I think would win more than 5 games in 24.

We have never had a manager suck up to the hierarchy at this club like he does. Even Lampard didn’t. He is the biggest yes man stooge for Kenwright we’ve ever had, probably why he’s in the job in the first place because it can’t be his managerial record that got him it.

Oh my days gave Everton a rest for a few hours and find blue Bills happy clappy clappings their jizzy keks off over Dyche

His managerial career shows he not a good manager.

His teams have Scored less goals then games he managed and conceded double the amount

That points to a bad manager
5 win in 24.. 5 wins.. 1 win every 5 matches as Everton manager

If that was a season that would be 7-8 wins 21-24 points meaning we need 16-18 draws to stay up

He’s not a good manager? Based on what, managing teams that have the expectation of relegation every season and not only avoiding it, but exceeding expectation?

He managed on a shoestring budget at Burnley for years and achieved way more than he was expected or should have - I’d say that is a success in every aspect.

What did you expect him to do at Burnley for you to consider him a good manager based on his managerial career? Qualify for Europe and massively overachieve with limited funds, infrastructure far behind most of the league and a squad most tipped to be at the lower end of the table every year…. Oh wait, he did.

And the same question for what you expect of him at Everton. What would you like to see him do with our squad? With an owner and board like we have had? With FFP restrictions? What would be a success? Most would consider 15th a more than successful season which means we are going to lose a lot more games than we win.

Dyche gets an awful lot of criticism, and a lot of it is completely unwarranted. Would I like to see better football? Sure. Do I think we have the players for that? No. Lampard proved that with the style he tried to adopt.

You don’t have to score 3 every game and win all the time to be successful. He’s managing Everton, it is very much all relative - just like it was at Burnley.

We will need to score 3 to win games if we continue to concede on average 2 per game. We have been extremely disorganised in defence this season and organisation is surely the bare minimum you expect from a Dyche team.

Haha agree it looks like way right now! But his record shows us that more often than not he gets there. The joys of managing a team that are expected to face a relegation battle. You concede a lot of goals and lose a bunch of matches.

This is the bit I find galling about dyche- but defensively he has a top class keeper, the rest aren't comparable with the defenders of previous regimes. Tarkowski really seems to have gone backwards and we need our captain back ASAP.
