Points on the board… that is the managers job.

If his hoofball style was effective it would be accepted. It’s not and we have been the better team once this season. Wolves and Sheffield were both good value for their points.
This isn’t really true. Wolves and SU were on the right side of fortune in these games.

So you're saying that Dyche is a good manager because he should have got relegated more but didn't? 🤨

You've written this as if it's a silly comment when it really isn't. On paper his burnley teams were favourites for relegation more often than not. He kept them up most seasons. Not that I really like him or want him here long term, but he is a specialist at dealing with the situation we are in. I hate his attitude more than anything.

Short answer - Yes. His teams were favourites for relegation most if not every season.
I can’t judge him on league titles or champions leagues because he’s managed sides that could not achieve those things. He achieved more than he should have right? There are numerous barometers of success.

I've no doubt that he punched above Burnley's collective weight, I was more getting at the bit where he's a good manager. I'm not so sure, but time will tell if he is good for us.

We need one of our holding midfielders to actually hold Sean. Sort it.

The only time ive seen that in 12months is yesterday. 2nd half Gana finally came deeper.

While he didnt actually 'sit' as an 'anchor' midfielder it was far more effective than wandering around following the ball and leaving a huge gap in all the games he plays.

This Dyche bloke doesnt seem to know how to setup a defence or a midfield. Ive not seen anything like it. Its meant to be his strength.

3 out of the 4 games we should have won. So things are working to a point. I am still keeping the faith in Dyche
But we didn’t win them
So something is wrong
1 unfortunate game is possible
2 unfortunate games is plausible
But 3 unfortunate games out of 4 is unlikely
Especially when the 4th game was an absolute mauling
And when we also performed extremely poorly against the worst placed team in the entire league structure.
If we continue being this ‘unfortunate’
We will ‘unfortunately’ find ourselves in the Championship in a very short time.
Which would be unfortunate for us all .

@Zatara - why the two middle fingers to my Sean Dyche posts? If you disagree then fine, but at least have the intelligence to post a sensible riposte. Were you pissed or on something? 😄

I mean the main unfortunate thing being won’t against Fulham and wolves were down to a striker - and that’s unforgivable but not down to dyche.

Beto plays those two and I’d be staggered if we didn’t win at least one of them.

A-fricken-bysmal.

I still think that the promoted sides are even worse than us. But if one of them can sneak a few points and do well against the other dross, we don't even have that glimmer of hope.

Dyche has been unlucky in 3 games against poor Premier League teams but the way his teams set up has to take the brunt of the blame. Not so slowly losing patience with him now.
