Does he mention why he banished him from training , making him train on his own.
That's been going on all summer since he came back from Jamaica.

I'm trying not to defend Gray here as what he put out was wrong.

I wouldn't believe Dyche if he said we are in the middle of a heatwave.
The man is a compulsive liar.
Give us a few of his compulsive lies.

So if a player says to a manager that they are going, that their move is done, you expect the manager to allow that player to train with the first team and play for the club?

That can’t be good for anyone, the player doesn’t want to be at the club, they have made that clear. That type of attitude is bad for the squad and sends a poor message to the rest of the squad.

The change of ownership at the Saudi club has held the deal up a bit, but it looks like it’s going through now, so hopefully he will be sold during the international break.

Do you really think Dyche hasn't known about this from the start ?
Gray has been nowhere near the squad for months mate.

That little rant from Dyche was him trying to save face.

And oh look , right on que Romano tweets Gray is on his way to Saudi.

Badge, people, club. Sounds like a Tory spin doctor.

Why you posting this you nob I was having a relaxing evening. If he says the word details I'm gonna flip.

Okay I watched, he said details loads I'm mad.

It also felt like a very forced interview. Almost an "hey people are slagging you off online you maybe want to put something out".

Clearly you have your own opinion about Dyche, which is fine, I mean don't sit on the fence or anything.

It's good that a manager has decided to come out and communicate- something this club is awful at - but seems to me that people are easily pleased.

Talks a good game does Sean. This mix of the modern and the old-school. The eye test still shows that we can't defend, have a midfield that is clearly set up incorrectly, have been crap at both attacking and defensive set-pieces, and spent large portions of matches aimlessly hoofing it.

He likes to consider it unlucky, I consider it part of a pattern borne of bad management.

Still, 'badge', 'alignment', 'reality', 'hard work', protect the board, rinse and repeat . . .

He's a gravelly voiced Martinez. A fantasist that creates a bizarre narrative of himself and gets people to buy into it.

You’re right. There was a lot of chat about “old fashioned” values like “hard work.”

Because famously successful modern teams don’t put any effort in.
To be fair we have watched our fair share of games when the effort wasn't there over the last few seasons. Probably why we have so many managers. Alex Iwobi had to be told to graft harder to win our respect. That shows they haven't always given their all.

Didn't mind that at all from Dyche, at the end of the day it's his job on the line when results aren't going the way we need them to and we are questioning why hasn't he got Gray on the bench. He's right to call Gray out on it and show everyone whilst he's here, he's in charge.

Didn't say graaaaaaaaaarrrrfffftt once in the interview which was a bit disappointing tbh

We have sections of the fanbase who seem to want a club where the players and not the manager is in charge. ‘Je suis Lucas’

I’d trust Dyche over every single player at this club given what some of them have turned in over the last few seasons.

Trust him with what?

I think Dyche is as honest as the day is long but I still want him gone.

Very very honest but very very limited!

To stabilise the club. He does have a ceiling (most managers outside the elite do) but I don’t think we’re hitting up against it yet.

He’s got credit in the bank with me for what he did last season, we were in a horrible situation with injuries and player attitude and confidence at a low. The performances against Arsenal Brighton Brentford were good and we showed character against Spurs Chelsea Wolves Bournemouth to ultimately stay up.

This season hasn’t started well points wise but I’m not watching us play like we were during the worst periods of Benitez and Lampard when the players just looked like they wanted the manager out.

I’d like to think Dyche can have us safe this season comfortably enough and it’s another year of FFP losses flushed out, players who don’t want to be here gone, and improvement in the squad value and attitude.
