Same happened at villa. Took every corner shirt and we never once switched on to what they were doing.

It’s the Dyche nonsense about ‘protecting the V’. Basically isn’t bothered about 2 players having all the time in the world down the sides of our box, as long as we’ve loaded all our players in the middle. Watch us concede the same goal again next week.

I wouldn't say I'm Dyche out given the wider situation at the club but something that's been worrying me for a while is whether a coaching staff consisting of just him, Woan and Stone is enough in terms of quantity, quality and breadth of experience for the requirements of coaching a squad in the most elite league in the world.

I suspect Dyche won't be sacked because there is no one at the wheel to do it but maybe additions to the coaching staff with different specialisms are required. The team as a whole look under-coached to me.

I think at Everton they put the name on the managers office door in chalk these days.

I'm sick of constantly changing manager, it has literally got us nowhere, but any manager who has 1 point from the opening 5 games without a goal scored at home has to be close to being handed his p45.

I'd not sack him, just demote him. Maybe not been done before but i'd now not trust this waffler in setting up a subbuteo side. Don't pay him off, just humour him.

He has no plan, there is obviously no work done on moving the ball and scoring goals. I know we cannot keep sacking managers but this is not the manager to settle on.

There are two teams that are clearly worse than us. 3 or 4 maybe on a par. I think we will hang on ok in the end

It wasn’t the result, because arsenal are a very good side, it was that we never even tried to attack until they scored, then suddenly we’re getting men forward and looking more dangerous.

The reason his first game, same fixture last season, was so impressive was that although we were defensive, we had a plan to attack and it wasn’t just a goal from a corner, we looked dangerous every time we went forward.

Today we looked absolutely abysmal on the ball and had McNeil basically positioned as a second left back and even Danjuma really deep on the right too so our plan seemed to be to hope for a lucky bounce or interception between Beto and Doucoure.

I had no problem with the first two home game performances, we played good football but were missing a striker to finish moves… today though… appalling.
