2023/24 Sean Dyche

Why would anybody want to do that.

He said: "There are lots of conversations ongoing with a number of different areas we hope to affect. No news at this stage about any of them."

Dyche also said the transfer window is 'always challenging', whether clubs have 'money or no money' available to spend on new signings. While the Everton boss also provided an update on outgoings.

Mason Holgate, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Demarai Gray have all been linked with moves away this summer. Dyche, however, said the club had 'no news' on any of the players linked with moves away.

And when pushed on Gbamin, the Everton manager said: "There is no news at the moment, but he is not back with us at the moment. We are monitoring his situation."

Asked if he would accept an offer for the midfielder, Dyche replied: "We will wait and see. We need an offer [for Gbamin] to come in first."

Dyche also hinted that any potential loan move for Tom Cannon may come later in the window, even though the forward returned to action in the practice match against Manchester United at Carrington on Tuesday.

"He's only just got fit," Dyche said when asked about the youngster. "He played 45 minutes the other day, so we'll keep an eye on him and make sure he's well.

"We're keeping our minds open at this stage. We haven't got a big squad, as everyone knows; we haven't got a massive number of strikers; that's quite obvious. He's in the building for now and will view it accordingly as the window comes towards the end."

Pretty sure I heard him say Gbamin has ‘done a Gnonto’ too.
This maybe a complete fabrication.

Today's 0-3 for Fulham and their having one on target and scoring last weekend indicates the managers starting selection - and subs - were at fault last week.

Start Maupay and Keane tomorrow and we 100% lose stepping onto the pitch minute one tomorrow. And all eleven players will know that.

Start DCL (Villa minus their injured grock at the back) and Branthwaite and we start the game with a >50% chance of a win. Simples. Think logically Dyche and dont pick your favourites or you'll be on zero points after two games and a termination candidate by September.

He needs to get a result for me. If you completely throw a game like Fulham that we were firmly in control and should have won, you need to bounce back and take the next winnable game in response. The players should be motivated to take this one. Unfortunately I can say the same for Villa after they had their arses handed to them.

Not being a negative Nancy, but this is technically not a "winnable" game.

No I'm not saying we CANT win, but Everton don't generally do well away from home.

Or to put it another way, I'm expecting nothing from the game and anything we can get will be most welcome.

Wolves on the other hand isn't just winnable, it's a must win if Dyche wants any hope of retaining any sense of support from me.

I doubt he cares like.

We’ll see. Villa looked vulnerable as all hell last week but oftentimes that isn’t indicative of anything but a bad week at the office (like Fulham for us last week). Curious to see how we do without Maupay hitting Bramley Moore with his finishing attempts. He needs to be relegated in more ways than one.

I see Dom in the starting lineup unless you meane….

Yes I meane keane.

That useless helmet nearly took us down single handed last season and now hes back in the starting 11 again.

Branthwaite is better then keane and will keep getting better but no this dinosaur of a manager will keep picking keane over him because he has his favourites and won't play youth.

And where chermiti?

Every manager has something that you say to yourself "if he continues doing this it's gonna cost him'

Dyches "thing" is Michael Keane. Absolute monstrosity of a player that almost relegated us all by himself.

Sickening gws worked with him this much and can't see what every everton fan sees
