Dyche spends most of his time trying to convince people that he’s more than a hoof ball, route one manager. He’s now just a boring tag line machine saying ‘change our story’ ‘it’s a big job’ ‘big moments’ ‘being brave’ on loop.
The truth is he’s got no clue how to set up teams to take the game to opponents. Against Wolves and Luton, his plan B was to stick on a tall player (Keane v Wolves and Beto v Luton) and telling everyone just to hoof it as far as they can up the pitch. Really sophisticated. I don’t think we had a shot on target against Luton in the second half. Regardless of anything else I’d sack him for that statistic alone.
