Add to this Burnley beat Luton last night, 2-1. Are you not convinced now that Dyche is not the manager for us.
Aye. Luton will probably win fewer than 4-5 games all season. Sadly, two of them will likely come against us. Absolutely abysmal from Dyche to lose the first one, and he's surely got to be on his way soon. Obviously the club won't have a clue at the moment of any potential replacements and will be doing all their decision making on the fly as usual.

Just read an article in The Athletic and they’ve written a lot of words to surmise that Luton Town outwitted Sean Dyche by putting 2 men on the back post for a set piece. Our defence has looked like a sieve against every team we’ve played this season defending corners and set pieces into our penalty area, but Dyche is seemingly oblivious to this and just sets up the defence in exactly the same way every game. Even more concerning is that when he talks after the game about ‘poor defending’ he seems completely unaware that it might be down to how he’s organised the defence.

so the 8 goals at Goodison, since February 2023, isn’t enough either.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Sean Dyche. The tactics are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of them will go over a typical fan’s head. There's also Sean’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these methods, to realise that they're not just effective- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Sean Dyche truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Sean’s existential catchphrase "it was like this before I got here," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Sean’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Sean Dyche tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid ;)

He must be confident about keeping his job, I wonder what his discussions within the club are like.
How does he sell his current position, really? He may actually win the Bournemouth match but it should not be forgotten that he mentioned standard only last week and spoke about being a custodian for the badge and fans and stuff only last month (context for post-match conference for Luton).

Such grim reading. By saturday evening we would have played 3 of the bottom 4. In that group Lutons only win and sheff utds only point has come against Everton. If we give bournemouth their first win i'd rather see a caretaker manager take over. Even in the mini league we're in with relegation rivals we're gifting them their points.
Every single dyche stat has alarm bells going off.
Bournemouth at home in early october shouldnt be as big as it is.

I remember when Moyes went to Utd, in one game they put in over 30 crosses into the area….but still got beat

Moyes bemoaned bad luck
Utd fans bemoaned no plan B

I think at times managers have different outlooks to us

I think the concern for me is no plan B, we continue to do the same things over and over…and it isn’t working

Dyche needs to change, or he will be the change

It’s all in his grasp
