Currently, we have faced 5 of the bottom 8! (One of those being ourselves)
Sheffield Uniteds only point has come against us
Luton's only win has come against us!
42 % of Wolve's points total has come vrs us
37 % of Fulhams point total has come vrs us
Brentford only have 1 win all season and that was against 10 men Fulham

We have 2 of the bottom 8 left to play & 10 of the other 12!

It really has been possibly the easiest start i could of asked for and its been messed up!
I'm dreading the fixtures after Bournemouth

Totally disagree. These players are inept and incapable of delivering good performances on a consistent basis. It's laughable that you think a better manager would have them playing better. We just lost to Luton... at home, FFS. That's as much on the players as it is the manager. It's time we accept what we are....equally as poo as Sheff Utd, Burnley, Luton, Bournemouth and far worse than Fulham, Palace, Forest, Wolves & Brentford. The league table is not lying. It hasn't been for the last three seasons. We had different managers then and still the same crap.

We also have different players!

Only Pickford, Doucoure, Mykolenko & DCL started that Crystal Palace game! And you would argue Pickford & DCL are our 2 best players!
Only 6 players started our opening game last season (Pickford (our best player), Patterson, Tarkowski (made captain), Mykolenko, McNeil (last seasons top scorer) & Doucoure (6 goals in his last 14 games).

The playing staff has changed dramatically over these 3 relegation battles! The 3 managers in charge have been the biggest downfall, all 3 have been terrible appointments

I would say the four highlighted are better teams with solid coaching behind them, and I am not sure we are any better than Burnley or Bournemouth with our current personnel. I remain hopeful that Harrison and Beto will improve our matchday squad, and that Branthwaite and Onana offer potential for improvement. but apart from Pickford and DCL I don't really rate any of our players as undisputed prem quality.

Yes mate you're right they have better coaching, thats the point, they don't have better players therefore if we had a better coach/manager we would be above them.

We should have beat Fulham, Wolves and Luton. 9 points extra puts us 7th.

That's where we should be currently.

But we did beat them on xG though, so we are seventh.

I've been banging the drum for months that we should have sacked him before the season started, then before the Internatinal break.

These players are made to look incapable due to the managers tactics and coaching and the previous managers.

Your missing the point mate, we have been badly managed and still are badly managed.

To a man, 1-11, we have better players than Luton. We lost to Luton because we can't defend set pieces. If that was a new thing, you could chalk it up to bad luck. It's not, so you can't. That's on the manager.

The performances are better, the results aren't good enough. I don't want him fired, but we are so far behind of where we should be it's pointless to defend the guy.

Spot on, people think weve had the same team for the last 3 years.

Statistics can be qualitative or quantitive and or hybrid.

Our greatest ever manger was also one of our worst statically in subsequent spells.

You can even look at different samples, if you look at the last 3 he’s won 2 in 3. You could look at results he’s had with a fit center forward and % vs ones he hasnt.

Statistics are useless without context, it’s why when they are used professionally they is an academic process and method around presenting them and it’s hypothesis.

Where should this squad be is the question I want people to answer

Given the fixture list start a lot more than 4 points on the table squad. We are currently the exact same as luton and burnley. W1 D1 lost 5. Burnley have played man city, villa, newcastle tottenham man utd.
IF that had been our fixtures id go well we've had a tough start.
We havent. 4 points from an easy ish 21 available is a disaster.

This is what worries me. We're not picking up points we should pick up. For some reason, we always seem to pick up weird points against the top half, but no matter where a club is in the table it should be doing better than we have against the bottom-feeders.

That's been a pattern for a while now. It's the kind of pattern that renders a European quality club midtable, mires a mid-table club in a relegation slog and opens the trap door for relegation fodder.

But if he loses on Saturday he's not stastically our worst manager, he's FACTUALLY our worst manager, EVER.
