Well he’s lashed out completely unprompted at internet warriors mate. What would wound up sound like to you, is there a special timbre or inflexion to it?
Ha lashed out...you're on here lashing out over him supposedly "lashing out" to be honest Mike you're the only one who's rattled.

I don't even think registered with most Evertonians so you've obviously took it to heart.

Its a bizare statement. As if he's suggesting there are two completely different fanbases. Going by his press confrences he clearly thinks he's doing a brilliant job and is above criticism. When you've lost the first 4 home games of the season what was he expecting, flowers and chocolates.
Its not rocket science. 7 points from the first 24 is going to be questioned. Esp as we've played 5 of the bottom 7.
He's got a bit of benitez about him in that its everyone else.

Its true though isn't it, there is mixed opinions on him in the same fanbase - he's just acknowdgleing it, although calling people internet warriors - was unnecessary and unwise, id say its twitter rather then anything. Shows a bit of naivety to the impact i think Everton has caused people in the last couple of years.

But there isn't one unifying opinion on him amongst and across the fanbase.

I wonder what the majority view would be.

Prob is more twitter i agree.
Me personally i posted at the start of the season i wanted him here. But if he thinks 0 points from 12 at home at the start of the season isnt going to get flak then he needs to get over himself.

Yeah it inevitably will mate, but id still look at the context and what hes trying to change - Luton in particular is a real marker and reflection point for me. I think the players went out and were out fought expecting a walk over - that's what really annoyed me about that game, being out fought - they wanted it more. I dont blame the manager i blame the players, i dont think the manager went out after winning two games in a week and said take you foot of the gas here lads, they were arrogant after Brentford and Villa and got out fought.

Fundamentally though - given the context and recent results i see change, i see progress, i see improvement, i see a plan - the mans talking sense - there has been problems with mentality and culture here for too long - if you listen to him he talks about it every week and it reared its head again Vs Luton, there was arrogance and dropping of levels in that game and too many phoned in a performance expecting a walk over. I hope he pummelled the players after that behind closed doors - i expect he did - its was a huge management opportunity for learning for the team.

Can't keep having the management merry-go-round guys. We've got to break that cycle.

He's fine but by no means a above criticism.

Do find it strange if you can't see the improvement in the team mind.
‘We’ve got to break the cycle’ in my opinion is one of the worst shouts going. You can’t use that to justify keeping him in charge when he has 7 points in 8 games. Ok we look more of a threat going forward but we are conceding 1.5 goals per game which is no where near good enough, especially looking at who we have already played

In the words of Jimi Hendrix "Hey Joe it's just my humble opinion"

Must be blind to not see the improvements we have made under Dyche. I'm no great fan of xG or such-like, but from going to the game you can see that chances are being created to a much higher degree. Defending is still an issue, but still better than under Lampard.

Is it good enough? Of course not, however we need to get some stability into Everton before we rashly dive into another series of management appointments.

Im old enough to have heard lots of talk from managers. I havent got a real issue with dyche but he does need to own it at times. The bottom line is points on the board and previous to bournemouth(worst team ive seen at Goodison in a long time) it was 3 points from 21. With a lot of points on the table opposition in there.
Dyche can talk a lot. He talked a lot at Burnley. It only gets you so much leeway.
