Hasn’t just been the last 6 games. You look at his points tally last season from when he came in. It was better than most of our relegation peers (hence why we stayed up) with what i firmly believe was a very poor team low on confidence beset by injury issues and with difficult fixtures remaining.

He had a poor start to this season results wise even though performances have mostly been there, the results are starting to follow now. Every manager can improve but just taking his worst games for us as conclusive proof he’s a bad manager isn’t a fair metric, he’s not even had 12 months in the job and in my view we’re a far better outfit now than when he took over.
We stayed up more by Leicester ballsing it up rather than our points earned.

Up until these last 6 or so games his record is right down there with Benitez & Lampard.

Yes it's refreshing of late but he still has way more to improve like stop playing his pensioner mate and has really got to sort these subs out , his stubborness could cost him.

….at least some posters are moving on from the view that Dyche is obsessed with picking Michael Keane.

Erm Eggs

He was upto Wednesday nights game.

Fingers crossed tho 🤞

When he arrived he kept Coady in the team ahead of Keane for a while, then he brought Keane in, dropped him at the end of the season for Mina, and even then played Coady in the final game when going theee at the back.

He started Keane this season but the moment a 20 year old Branthwaite with minimal PL experience was fully fit he was dropped and hasn’t got his place back since.

Does this read like the actions of someone who is obsessed with playing Keane?

He's played in 6 games so far this season, so that's 6 too many.

Coady made 2 mistakes & was shunned for Keane , that period Keane made mistake after mistake in almost every game , yet he persisted with him.
I'm convinced if he didn't put Coady & Mina in for Keane we were relegated.

Maybe he has learnt , but then again keeps persisting with equally as bad Young.

Dyche is doing a steady job and we have to take into consideration the restrictions he is working under. The improvement is for all to see. With Lampard and Benitez we can all agree we seen little improvement and no plan. Let Dyche see the season out and see where we stand as a club once all the 'noise' has settled.

Dyche is bringing team ethic in and we are now playing more as a team in his way. We will lose possession stats against 90% teams no doubt but possession stats are easily skewed nowadays with keep ball at the back

I am not a fan of his football. It is turgid. Defend resolutely, do not commit to many forward, play long etc ….

That said, and fair play, he has made us not only difficult to beat but also difficult to create chances against.

I wouldn't say turgid. I am enjoying the football under him more that the Lampard, Benitez and Fat Sam teams. Hoping that making us difficult to beat prevents us from another relegation battle and then give him time (dependent on finances) to add slowly to the team. Feel he is at the start of a build
