I think with danjuma, Harrison, gnonto he would get us doing a lot more in an attacking sense.
Dyche is one of those - let's be defensive and organised and hope someone at the other end of the pitch can come up with a piece of magic types.

Desperately need Harrison and McNeil back and starting games. I am convinced both of these, if fit, start every week.

That moves Iwobi and, hopefully, one of Doucouré/Gueye/Onana out of the side.

Garner has to shift to the middle.

Branthwaite needs a run in the side.

One of Adams or DCL start every game, and Danjuma has to start too. I want Gueye and Doucouré out the side, and Onana and Garner starting in the middle.

That is enough to keep us alive in this division. But the manager has to stop his crazy selections and blind faith to certain players.

Thing is we’ll probably sign Gnonto and Adams but Dyche won’t play them for about 6 weeks as they haven’t done his ‘gaffer day’ or bleep test or other ridiculous fitness hoops he feels players need to jump through before they even get on the bench.

I don’t know the statistics but was his Burnley side actually that good defensively or were they helped quite a bit by last ditch defending?

I would say the weakest part of his management tenure so far is how much of a defensive shambles we are.
Rubbish, Burnley have moved on from him and probably better position with Kompany

Remember when Burnley beat us 2 years ago, the then Burnley manager Sean Dyche said after the game he told his players at half time when they were behind that ‘Everton don’t know how to win games.’ Now he’s in charge of Everton, any chance of him remedying this fault which is still there under his leadership?

He was right though

Time to get rid

Bring Potter in with a back room staff who identify, bring on and nurture young players

Dyche is set in his ways. He'd sooner have keane playing with a broken leg than an up and coming youngster

He mentioned Dobbin in post match interview. What about Braithwaite, Cannon and the others. They are no worse than the current starting eleven but get ignored

They just don't get a chance

Both of those were lined up by Brands prior to him leaving the club. I do think its harsh to label Patterson "shocking" the lads still developing although for me he needs a loan move to the championship to learn his trade.

My point was - since Benitez and the infamous summer of £1.7m spend we've spent more money and gone backwards which myself and a few others like @Saint Domingo warned people about yet it was easy for us to be labelled as happy clappers.

You dont sack a manager unless there are better replacements out there to come in and replace the man who's leaving. We sacked Benitez and had that problem and we'll have the same problem if we chase Dyche out the door prematurely.

If the club had dough / was going places then then by all means go get on the blower to Mancini but he aint coming ere in our current situation.

You’d think after 6 managers all failing in the same way that some fans might eventually stop hounding out the manager every time we lose a game.

Our injury prevention and rehabilitation is awful

We’re hamstrung by FFP and therefore can’t move out large parts of the squad who need to leave

There’s a deep rooted culture of lethargy mediocrity and just clowning around at the club

None of these things are going to change by removing Dyche 2 games into a season. We probably can’t even afford to remove him anyway.
