I'm not a super devout stats guy but here is the stats from the most recent man united game contrasted with the numbers from when lampard was the manager against man united , clear improvement despite the greater disparity in results , also supports the notion that dyche isn't Allardyce 2.0

The squad was ageing badly though and we had key injuries in 17/18 to both fullbacks as well.

It left us with a backline that included Kenny Keane (carrying injury yikes) Ashley Williams and Martina. It was probably the worst back 4 in the league.

Midfield we had no creativity Gueye Schneiderlin Klaassen. It was slow and none of them could pick a pass. Then we had Siggurdson Rooney and Sandro upfront. No pace whatsoever.

Allardyce did what he could with the players we had but we effectively lost Lukaku Barkley Mirallas Baines Coleman from the previous years team and Schneiderlin went from a young Gareth Barry the previous season to being completely useless

You do realise I’ll have nightmares tonight about this hybrid Everton player Kenny Keane?

Even Carlo could be stubborn. The key difference was that it was only for a fixture or two before he admitted the error and tried something else.

Carlo changed the team and brought on subs after 20 minutes, your right though he did are mistakes but as you say corrected them, Dyche just carries on and hopes he comes good

We beat both Man Utd and Chelsea under Lampard. And Lampard was a poor manager and some on here keep using Lampard as the barometer for dyche.

You can use as many stats as you like-, but dyche has a better squad than Lampard had this time last season and dyche has a horrendous home record
