Was reading the match thread on a Newcastle forum earlier. Can confirm this is the case.

They were getting proper wound up every time the camera panned to him clapping, even before the goals.

More bitterness from the Geordies.

"Meh, let the Toffees enjoy it. They'll be in exactly the same position next season and the year after, celebrating rare wins that just about keep their heads above water."

Hopefully Dyche gets us in a position where we can sign up en masse and take the pee

You love to see it
Being looked down on by a fanbase that have had one ‘good’ season since the mid 90s and not won a thing since the 50s
I remember when we were ‘best of the rest’ under Moyes and most neutrals wanted us to break in to the Big 4 or Sky 6 (depending on when we’re talking) but everyone I speak to nowadays wishes nothing but the worst on the barcodes.

Bit of a conspiracy theory there.
We missed out because Allan and Doucoure got injured and our hard working midfield two became Sigurdsson and Davies!
Then James got injured and we ran out of steam.
He let James fly off to Colombia a game early because he wanted to keep our star man happy and he wanted to see his child before internationals.
Nah no conspiracy at all, just facts. He had to have had contact with Real Madrid long before the season ended for him to go as fast as he did. Sure there were injury problems just like there always is for every team but Carlo could get the best out of any player like he did with Dom. There was a massive drop off in form once his head was turned even if we didn't know it had been turned until the season ended when he walked. James sending photos from a bed on a luxury plane while we still had a chance of qualifying for the Europa was an absolute disgrace tbh, no matter how much we all loved him. It put a boss message out to the rest of the team i.e who is even assed about it.

Nah there's a footballer in there for sure, he helped get the best out of DCL quicker but it was inevitable.

The biggest win was that stretch of like 5-6 games where Davies looked like an actual footballer, now THAT was Carlo's magic touch.

I never loved him. A talented shirker whose continual absence or going missing when the tackles were landing got on my nerves.

Yeah there was definitely always a player in there and still is. Carlo was the one that got him scoring a high tally though.

He was a brilliant man manager while he still wanted to be the manager.

Interesting looking at the Everton results site to see our recent improvement in form. Has risen a lot and he is only just behind Silva now. Well done and long may it continue.

He gave me the impression he absolutely hated playing in this league and living in this country and couldn’t wait to get out.
Mike, I honestly wouldn't go anywhere near that far. There were issues, but nothing so extreme. As others mentioned, when Carlo's enthusiasm waned...

But then again, arguably there were legitimate reasons why Ancelotti may have become disillusioned.

It's not miserable. I literally said in the post it was a great goal, did you miss that? lol

It was wonderful to see us controlling the ball, being patience, running the clock down. As I've said, it was a great goal, but they were shattered and hardly pressing so it just needs some context, that's all.
Once the ways got loader they were pressing hard, actually could say them over pressing to win the ball back left all that space for Beto to run into and score
"What a goal, what a f***in goal, what a goal, what a f***in goal" 1min 30 in. He was like a little kid, then covers his mouth so as not to get told off. Made me laugh anyway.
