I can confirm this.
Obviously the aim this season is just to stay up given we can’t do much with the points deduction but the optimist in me is very excited to see what he’ll do over the next few seasons. No reason why we can’t finally push on a bit.
Obviously we’ll ground our ambitions a touch but I think if he and Thelwell even got a reasonable amount of money to spend we’d be right back amongst going for Europe in no time, especially looking towards the Conference League which would be a winnable trophy for us by then hopefully.
I think we could have dyche for the long run if we are lucky. I don't think he's fashionable enough for a so called 'bigger' club to take him from us. I think he could do for us what Moyes did on a low budget. Then in a few years if/when we have got into a better financial position and with the new stadium income we could really start to kick on.
Chico, you are the Loki to GOT’s ThorI can confirm this.
I noticed the commentator yesterday started talking about “long passes,” which sounds an awful lot better than “long balls.”This long ball punting is a myth now he's working with players better then he has ever done we are seeing we can do all aspects of the game
Yeah because he's not looking like a 1 trick ponyI noticed the commentator yesterday started talking about “long passes,” which sounds an awful lot better than “long balls.”
Almost every time the possession stats are shown, they also make time to point out that low possession won’t bother Everton.
Maybe the establishment is starting to respect Dyche’s approach?
Positively bouncing by his standards:
The fact that we're still in with a chance of staying up this season, with the squad we have, and a -10pt deduction really speaks for itself. He's a brilliant manager and exactly what we need at this moment in time.
I'm not going to say I didn't have my doubts despite the factors I mentioned. I thought for a while that his days were numbered, and was disappointed with the results. Despite the fact that I have always been pro-Dyche. Still, I didn't spend my days here on the forum putting forward straw men and being disingenuous.I agree 90% but surely even the biggest Dyche fanboys were wavering after Arsenal and Luton? They were two nstaggeringly bad performances.
I’ve always been a big Dyche supporter since his first game, but something was really off in those two matches
he mixes it up nicely, we play from the back when it is more safe and Pickford punts it with super duper idea balls too which stretches the opposition and creates gaps. Much better to watch than the frantic nervy tapping it around th back waiting for us to lose it in our own boxThis long ball punting is a myth now he's working with players better then he has ever done we are seeing we can do all aspects of the game
Possession stats have crept up in the last few games from around 20% to nearer 30-40% which shows we are trying to mix it up a bit more and tbh I can be happy with that for now.I noticed the commentator yesterday started talking about “long passes,” which sounds an awful lot better than “long balls.”

Got absolutely slated for this and now you're all licking his ring piece. Fickle bunch.
I was with a few on the train to the game but they looked and sounded a bit like a 'crewe' so I kept my gob shut, the lads on the way back were sound, good company, young lads on a weekend bender with a bit of footy thrown in.Brilliant, hope we do them in the cup hope you've had safe journey home
