That early season poor run feels like a distant memory. He's got us playing like a Moyes team in so many ways. Solid and together as a unit. The sum more than the parts.

It is definitely more dogs of war than silky smooth school of science, but as I said in the match thread, I don't care. For the first time in a very long time I actually think we'll acquit ourselves and pick up points in most games.

I also think he represents the club well and manages the players well. How he's handled the Deli Alli situation is to his credit. Imagine Benitez?

Still drives me mad with his substitutions and I do worry he'll look to keep certain players in the team at all costs. But overall, he's done good so far in awful circumstances. Again Imagine Benitez cry-arsing in the same situation.

Lampard was a bit more of a cry arse than Benitez I think

I' ve always thought that Dyche is an average Premier League manager and I still have my doubts. However , unlike the Spanish imposter and Lampard he is a Premier league quality. The good things he' s done with us are there for all to see , mainly getting the best out of his available players and making them look like a team.
The game yesterday was a great display of his abilities. Those were underlined not just by us and the way we were set up and played but to a greater extent by Burnley. Remember all this bs about the Kompany revolution, the attractive football, the ugly Dyche style being left behind, etc. ? Well, Dyche ' s Burnley was ugly, but they were recognizable - a direct team of workhorses that was at least hard to beat. On the contrary, Burnley yesterday was an absolutely nothing team , neither physical nor technical. Potential they say, youth and so on but I didn' t see anything that would suggest that they are capable to do anything better than simply being an yo-yo team in the foreseeable future.
So, obviously I am on course to eating my humble pie which I would gladly do if we carry on like this.

Doing a fantastic job when you consider the circumstances he's had to operate in.

All his critics can really throw at him is 'don't like the way he plays.' Would be nice if those critics would actually admit that said opinion is actually just their own highly subjective opinion.

Tactics and playing style aside, he ticks the boxes for every other metric...

Does the team look fit and motivated? Yes.

Are players improving and/or playing to their potential? Yes.

Does he have good man management skills? You could only assume so, given the last two points.

Has he implemented a style of play that is identifiable? Yes.

Have we improved under his management? Yes.

As I said; fantastic job he's doing.

What planet are you on? Dyche is the best manager we've had since Moyes left. You could argue Ancelotti was better (definitely had a better history) but they're up there in the same debate.

You can't say a manager that's had 10 wins in the last 14 games isn't a top manager. When was the last time Everton won 10 in 14?

You're having a laugh. He's not a patch on Martinez or Silva. I thought Koeman was a fat blert and the least said about the others the better.

Right man , right time

Agreed. As I said he's steadied a ship. He's not long term though. Everyone knows that.

Far surpassing the job I expected him to do. More than happy for this to keep going and my earlier posts about him to look more and more stupid.

Funny. It was the only thing you've ever posted that I agree with. Have the faith of your conviction ffs
