I can't believe half this forum wanted him sacked in September. For who? Up the Dyche ball
I didn’t want him gone in September but to be fair we were in a bad place.

The fact we’ve then gone from 1 point after 5 games to 16 points after 17 and 7 points clear of the zone is actually impressive enough in itself. Doing it with ten points deducted is just showboating.

Agreed. As I said he's steadied a ship. He's not long term though. Everyone knows that.

Do they? Who is 'everyone' lad?

Stop trying to create a narrative that doesn't exist. I mean, you're wasting your time really. You've not been clever enough, nor subtle enough, to have any of the main posters on here think you chat anything other than complete twaddle.

There were a few in this thread that were calling for it who probably need to eat some humble pie. He has been operating under the most difficult conditions and has still kept us a float

Last season we had 8 wins and a goal difference of -23
Only managed 34 goals in 38 games.
As bad as can possibly be and still staying up.

I hope this season provides the reboot we need to return this club to what it once was and once stood for.

More parallels with Joe Royles stint when we thought we were getting a reboot back to our identity. Hopefully this one isn't scuppered by boardroom madness and a deep rooted desire for buying terrible right backs.

Although I didn't want another managerial change and saw enough in the early games, I can completely understand people wanting him out after the first few games so wouldn't pull anyone up over it.

What really does my head in is the doubling down on that opinion now from some after this massive uptick in form / results / performances.

Is there anybody doubling down currently?

I only ask cos I do have several hundred people on ignore.
