Let's be honest, if this doesn't improve in the next two games, against two of the poorer opponents this season, then people will rightfully begin to question his tenure.

He improved players like McNeil last season but we look so unfit it's bizarre. Can't understand why we'd be undercooked when no one else appears to be.
It’s all very odd to me. Has the reputation as a dated, nail gargling caveman of a manager, but then he puts himself out there talking tactics, mentality, proper fitness like he is recording a well-being podcast. At the moment it looks like he’d have gotten more of a response out of the squad by living up to his stereotype. We are proper soft, and only launch into some yellow cards in frustration once the game is gone, presumably to make it look like they are trying.

Was pretty critical in the initial and official Everton interviews, still going on about consistency “not between games but during games” which I’m sick of hearing. But it was presumably in the later media rounds he started to sound more cheesed off with the defensive performance and less guarded.

Managers must be terrified of tearing into this lot and spending hours today highlighting every single individual error and particularly lack of effort in front of the whole group. He’d join the legions of other managers thrown under the bus in the FF car park.

As someone said, can't remember if it was on here or twitter? It wasn't Dyche that kept us up last season, it was the save that pope did v Leicester last min, if that had gone in we were down and not a thing that Dyche could have done.

He continues to play Keane he will be gone around Halloween

The points gained at the end of the season kept us up. Not some random save in another game.

The michael keane thing is valid. He's doing himself no favours at all with that one.

Probably because we're spending our time doing bleep tests when other teams are doing pressing patterns and learning where to move in possession.

It's easy to get knackered when you're chasing after the opposition and punting it up long when you win it back.

I'm actually laughing at how predictable this sort of drivel is.

You can say that about any passage of play.
Thr pen save against Leicester could equally be claimed to have kept us up

Overdone it in pre-season maybe? Scandalous though - it's like the one thing I thought would be guaranteed with him.

Nah I don't think we looked particularly sharp/fit in any of the matches tbh. Not one where I felt we had the physical advantage anyway. We just looked organised during pre season.

I honestly think yesterday it was a case of the players already feeling the pressure and absolutely not wanting the ball at all.

There's been no reset at the club, no big name player come in to give them all a lift. Very.much the same group of players from last season who deep down know they're not good enough for this league.

All boil downs to poor/slow recruitment once again which has put us on the immediate back foot.

He needs to drop Keane now, he's gave him another chance to prove himself but he's utterly failed once again. He dropped Coady and Keane quick enough last season which where the right decisions, he needs to do it again and give Branthwaite a chance.
