2024/25 Sean Dyche

At least two of those are an obvious wind up.
Didn't last 5 seconds lol

Can't recall making it either. Fairly sure I've made similar stupid Dyxhe threads and someone will triumphantly present them as evidence of something.

Fingers crossed.

The Friedkin’s have 3 options really- sack Dyche straight away, replace him in the summer, or give him a new contract.

A decision will probably be made when the takeover is completed. I just don’t see it as a viable option to leave Dyche in charge with no new contract. It will become clear to everyone he’s on his way out as rumours about his successor gather pace. As we’ve seen over recent years, our fragile squad needs very little excuse to put in poor performances, so the idea of flirting with relegation with a team not performing due to uncertainty over the manager is not viable.
If the Friedkin’s want a new manager, I suspect it will be done before the January window. It avoids 6 months of speculation and uncertainty and means proper planning can be done for next season. I don’t think it’s likely they will offer him a new contract.

it's a myth that some people say Dyche is doing a good job with the players he has, Rubbish he has a team full of internationals
Pickford Branthwaite Tarkowski Coleman Mykolenko

Ndiaye Gana Mangala Garner
DCL
we should be playing better football than what we are and having better possession stats at home against teams like Southampton Crystal Palace etc

This thread is ace. Like one of those WWE tag teams bouts, that ends up outside the ring, then in the basement, then outside in car park. Fellas getting wellied by stepladders, tables smashed, broken chairs over heads aots.

It just needs Big Sam and Little Sam watching on, telling all and sundry they will be back soon.

Brilliant!

I’m really going to miss this thread when he does leave.

It’s brilliant!

There was a definite wee stained mattress brigade calling for his head. Halcyon days.

Yep, remember it well. @ForeverEverton was his biggest critic. Which is strange, considering now, he thinks those Spanish minnows Real Madrid will be up the creek when he leaves.

On top of all that, he's a bare faced liar, who for some reason won't admit that he's not backed a single Everton manager during his time on this board.

Me - "Who was the last Everton manager you didn't want punted? "

Forever Everton - "Carlo Ancelotti... The rest since have been much of a muchness, all as rubbish as each other. All out of work managers!"

The Sean Dyche 22/23 thread makes extremely interesting reading for what some posters thought of the squad he had then and what their expectations of him where and weren’t. Extremely interesting.

I don't think we've had a manager thread where this hasn't happened.

Maybe Allardyce as he was near universally disliked. Silva possibly because I think there was a slim slide towards realising he was struggling.

But yeah, Dyche is pretty entertaining. Unlike the footy.
